I think both her and Brooke go lower tomorrow. But, we will see.  Brooke's  scorecard is anything but dull . . . lots of birdies and the bogeys to offset.

Lots of good stories going into the weekend. Hyo Joo, Hinako, Sei Young, and Patty looking for their 2nd major. Back to back for Patty would be something. Jennifer K looking to get a first win, and a major to boot. We've seen a number of first time winners grab a major in the past few years (8 in four seasons), so anything is possible I guess. Nanna looking for two wings in 3 events.

Stupidity did Brooke in, going right at the flag on 17 ok, sure give a try and tough break she was yard short and ended up in the bunker but going at the green in 2 with a 3-wood was just ridiculous (I think it was 3-wood).  She should played to the big part of the green on 17 and laid up on 18 and hope you make a putt to get to 4 under.   She was always gonna be quite a few shots behind starting Sat. and now you just devalued and low round she shoots tomorrow, she quite often lose sight of situation and it has nothing to do with aggression

Not sure I understand what you are trying to express here?  But, I don't believe that I devalued Brooke per se.

Meaning if she shot a 64 tomorrow she probably still be 5-6 shots out of the lead.  I don't think she care's about top 10's.

I wonder if it's split tee or everyone starts at #1 cause if the right score tee's off at the right time in AM, you can go low, afternoon can get tricky and the TV time has the finish right in it.  It's also the LPGA so I wouldn't be shocked if it was back to groups of 3, probably for TV reasons lol

Just finished catching up with the DVR and REALLY enjoying this tourney. Love the names on the leaderboard, the historic venue and some nice golf being played. Shibuno deserves to be on top. She was impressive today. 
 

I’m going to be OD’ing on golf for the next 10 days starting with this epic weekend. Chevron, the am girls and DC&P in Augusta, Valero followed by Masters week….YEE HAW! Golf…Golf…and more Golf.

unfortunately I don't think the Chevron is on TV in Japan. But, yeah... I echo that sentiment. I like Harbor Town too, so I am taking it easy this week...

 

It'd be nice to see Shibuno pull out another one. Either, way this one will be historic.

Single tee start in twosomes for the third round per LPGA website. Final group off at 5:01 EST. Let's go Nanna!

I recall in the R1 commentary they said 2 holes, I certainly saw players doing it from the fairway on 18. Looked perfectly playable to me.

 

One huge difference between the LPGA and PGA is how poorly the LPGA handles its majors: events change names, bounce in and out of major status, lets now dismiss an iconic venue and oh, why don't we have 5 majors?

 

All that and players still struggle to win multiple majors and some get into the Hall of Fame with no majors.

 

Lifting and placing in a major is another travesty.
