 It's still letting me do it for both the 16.5 and 18

And just to make sure, you all are looking at the TSi versions, not the new TSR, right? You've gotta look at the TSi versions, and then click the blue "customize club" button and go from there.

Anyone know the shaft lengths on the 15 vs 16.5 vs 18?

I think in TSR the 15 and 16.5 are both 43" and the 18 is 42"

 

On TSi, the 15 is 43", the 16.5 is 42.5" and the 18 is 42"

Went into PGA SS and hit the new TSR2+ fairway with 1K black. I have a SIM2 Ti w/ a Ventus black that I love but man that TSR2+ was sweet. I was dumb and didn’t bring my SIM2 to test, but ended up buying it on the spot without comparing it was that good.
Now… do I take the wrapper off and play with it tomorrow (voiding full refund) or be responsible and go back into PGA SS and compare the numbers before deciding if I want to keep it??

Was it Sim 2 Ti 13.5 ? How did the Ventus black compare to the 1k black for you?

They often do it too because it's a hassle for them in the sense that they have to keep them on stock and so on. So often they'll charge a price that makes it worth their while and not have to keep as much inventory on hand.

15 degree turned down to 2 clicks lowers. Ventus black definitely feels more stable but I did enjoy the “smoother” feel of the 1K with the fairway. I like the firmer feel on my driver to really get after it, but on the fairway I could definitely make the 1K black work.

Has anybody taken a shaft fit with TM adapter and successfully swaped on a Titleist adapter? Or am I better off selling the shaft and buying a Titleist shaft on used market?

Any shop worth a damn should be able to do that very easily.  Maybe cost you $30 or so for the adapter and labor.

There should be a bunch of threads on this in the club making forum. I don't know the answer, but different OEM adapters have different insertion depths into the adapter so switching from one to the other will probably result in a different playing length and/or leave some of the tip prep exposed in the new adapter. Also, for Titleist, the driver and fairway adapters are not the same thing. For taylormade, they just have the one adapter that fits into both driver and fairway.

Have you tried the TSi1?  It's a high launch bomber an looks better than the TSi2 or TSR2. 

 

Almost a bigger TSR3 slightly more round pear shape. Doesn't have the pointy back like the 2 series.

I ordered a tsi3 18* with a graphite design UB about 2 hours ago. Received confirmation instantly. But I know that change lol. I’m thinking this was a way for them to shred inventory.

Yes many times. And it’ll work out in your favor as the insertion depths are similar but the ferrule for the Titleist adapters (both driver or fairway) are longer than the TM one. So shouldn’t have any issue of exposed prep area.

Yep. thanks!  i have the TSi1 driver and the 20 and 23 hybrids.   They are super easy to hit.  I was just wanting new and shiny 😬

I am very interested in the TSR3 5 wood especially if it has the much smaller head which someone mentioned, so any pics of it compared to TSR3 / TSR2 3 woods would be much appreciated, more importantly how does this 5 wood perform in terms of launch and spin?

got the TSR3 with ventus blue TR in today....

 

 

the TR shaft has a great paintjob not that it matters much, nice blend from black to dark blue with metallic flecks throughout

Ditching the Stealth Plus for the TSR4. Stealth was launching in a good window but spin was 16-1800 and TSR4 with the weight back was 22-2300 consistently and dispersion was better as well. Same shaft Ventus 7X but going to have the TSR shaft tipped 1”
