What driver are you gaming for the 23' season?

Was pretty happy with Stealth+ 9 last season at 45.5 w/ Ventus Black 7X. Made some swing changes over the offseason and was getting 20-30ft less peak height. Switched into a Stealth2+ 10.5 at 45 w/ Ventus TR Black 6X and hitting it 25y+ carry longer than last season. Wish I would have got the matte crown over the gloss

Update:  Still rocking the Paradym TD and have been testing the Diamana GT 70TX and 1K Pro Blue 70TX.  I'm leaning more towards the 1K Pro Blue atm.  Anyone interested in a GT 70TX?  LOL.

Had a great day off the tee. On the greens was another story. Stz220 firmly locked in for the year. Besides 2 bad swings, I hit a nice easy draw, even way out in the high toe. The couple I went after actually flew straight, with a bit of fade.

Sticking with the Rogue St Max Ls/Gen 4 Hzrdus Black.

Tried the new Paradym line and along with Titleist and Tm, but the Ls is still the King for me.

Been a bit of a process this winter, and I eventually realized that I was chasing "simulator perfection" which can be an awful black hole of its own 😆

Ended my Sim membership in May when I realized that I had this unhealthy relationship with the sim and wanted to just get back to being an athlete, seeing the ball fly and go from there.

Very happy with the end result, and it was literally the last driver I purchased this off season, and have not hit a single ball in the sim with it. I see everything I need to see on the course with several drives 340+, and how it is actually playable in the wind

Winner for me was the TSR4 - 8*, Accra 362 RPG M5

I have always been an Accra fan but this shaft just finds the center of the face for me, very consistently.  I hit the TSi stuff last year, but this TSR4 just gave me OG Sim vibes. Minimal sidespin, and LONG. I honestly cant believe how forgiving it is for a 430cc driver

Owned this past off-season:

  • Paradym TD - owned 10.5 and 9 degree heads. Liked the 9 but it just never felt "right". Broke it, and moved to the TSR4
  • Paradym Std - 9, fore left
  • Aerojet LS - too similar to LTDx LS
  • Aerojet std - lots of promise but always looked like it wanted to go left
  • Stealth 2+ - nope, just nope
  • Rogue TD LS - tried this a second time. And remembered why I sold the first time 😆
  • Sim 2 - actually pretty good, should have kept
  • OG Stealth - should have just kept it and avoided buying 12 more drivers after this

Man....thats pretty bad LMAO

  • Haha 1

TSR4 8*, Accra RPG 362 M5 & Ventus Red 7x

Sim Rocket 14*, Accra TZ6 75 M5

Srixon ZX7 4 - PW, Modus 120 TX

Callaway JAWS 50, 54, 60,  x100 DG

I was alternating between an old Ping G30 LST and Cobra Biocell Pro for too many years, and finally decided it was time to upgrade to something more current.  Went with the Callaway Rogue ST MAX LS with a Ventus Blue.  Its only been a few weeks now, but I've gained about 5 yards and dispersion is so much tighter.  And the sound/feel versus the Ping is night and day.  Very happy so far.

I'm going with the Stealth 2 Plus 9.0* with VA Composites Raijin 2.0 55 as all I can say is Wow! Took it out for the 1st time on a par 4 330 yds and drove the green for an Eagle, It's been over 2 years or better since I last drove that green but 1st Eagle. I did have a cross wind left to right with a slight dogleg right but still I will take it. Had another hole 405 yds and right around 100 yds left to the pin as this is the best combo I've ever hit so far as I'm sure the shaft helps out but I really like how the ball jumps off the face like a rocket. Now as long as it holds up without any defects as some have had I don't see this driver leaving my bag for 2023

I'm not even going to lie, I was hesitant to buy the Haywood as it was more than I'd ever spent for a driver. But wow, am I glad I did. Not sure that it's forgiving, but if you put a good swing on it, you will be rewarded. It's 10 yards longer and straighter than I've ever hit it. I've still managed to leave the face open and slice it over the cart path, but my good shots are way better. The slice isn't any worse than others.

Lol. I've got 4 heads paired with 4 different shafts and enjoy hitting them all.  They're too cheap not to buy when one comes up with a good shaft and they aren't worth enough for my ho'ing to get in the way of keeping them.  The one I'm currently hitting with the Kiyoshi was like $70, I think.  I also have one of the tour "fixed hosel" or whatever they call it LS models but haven't toyed around with it too much yet even though I've had it for a few years.

Title states it all, interested in what everyone is going to be gaming or thinks they will be gaming, still have my g400 lst and cobra ltd pro, but the srixon zx5 LS has got my head wondering, have a feeling it will be in the bag at some point

Irons are my focus. I've yet to play a round coming back from a 5 1/2 year injury-induced  layoff. I've taken 3 sets of irons to the range and results were better than expected and surprisingly consistent. Reflecting back 8 years ago when I carried a respectable 9 index, knowing I will not be competing in any sanctioned tournaments (maybe a casual weekly league) I decided to use what got me there and my lowest round ever.

Ping Eye 2 + Red Dot KT shafts, 2-SW. I'll seldom carry more than 4-SW. Most likely 5-SW with a hybrid, 3 wood, 5 wood and maybe a 7.

Driver will be same Orlimar HipTi 420.

Fairway clubs are Adams 3 Hybrid, Orlimar Tri-Metal 3, 5, 7.

Putter: Odyssey White Hot Steel or Logical One.

Only non-Ping Wedges: Cleveland 588 BeCu 56 and Diadic 53.

Ping L8 bag.

Will not even think about shafts, new/replacement clubs until I break 80 again. I tried buying a golf game, fixing my swing many times without success.
