I typically have low expectations as a lefty & someone who prefers a “clean” look & dislikes the red dots. Happy to see more lefty options like the golo & Del Mar.

I had some custom adjustments. 3* loft, 69* lie, 34.5"

I don’t follow Scotty’s otr putters to know but do they usually go “on sale” when the new line comes out like all other golf clubs?

Got my Newport last night. Was a nice suprise from my buddy. I have (2) Newport Special Selects already; they look and feel exactly the same at address. I am a fan of the neck milling and the bigger milled dots. It will get a new grip and go right in the bag.

feels exactly the same to me. I have the Newport and I have (2) of the Newport Special Selects from the last 2 years.

I just hit about 30 putts with each side by side and I don’t feel much if any difference in the feel. As far as looks, I like it. These are the previous Special Select model. I think a new grip and the new one is gonna go in the bag. 
 

quick add, the full milled out cherry dots with no fill are a very nice upgrade imo.

Had all of the new models in my hands today- didn’t get a chance to roll any. Having a hard time deciding between the Newport 2 Plus and the Squareback. A video review on Youtube says the Squareback has quite a different feel (almost like less solid, slightly hollow feeling) but seems slightly more forgiving (as it should). 

 

Gonna have to hit some putts with both on Friday and go from there.

I have a Newport 2 plus on pre-order. Have a special select Newport 2, looking forward to having a wider/more moi option if I’m not feeling confident or if the greens are slower

Grabbed a 2.5 earlier and headed to the practice green. Very impressive, I have never kept a Scotty in the bag for any amount of time. Maybe this is the one

The NP and NP2 head shapes from the Special and Super Select lines are two of the best he's ever done. They look so good. I'm glad they didn't get an overhaul. He should run with this design a bit more IMO.

 

With that being said...

 

The Scotty Cameron on the face is so awkwardly large though, I feel like we're at least owed a story behind the reasoning. Seriously, if he was at least inspired by some large billboard he saw as kid on the way to a car show that would be better than him or Titleist thinking that looked good.

Are the head weight the same as last iteration? 340 at 35”, 350 at 34” and 360 at 33”?

Yep, that's the one.

Like the clean i-beam look too unlike the other models.

The 2.5+ is the one I’ve been eyeing. I just wish his name wasn’t SO large on the front. The rest of the putter is pretty clean and actually a really nice and balanced shape. Any idea on head weight?

I wonder if they have an option to not have the big name and cavity holes.  The head shapes are nice but I just can’t do the styling
