G400 Max is very good but the Cobra Radspeed XB and the Cobra LTDx LS are better

Hard to beat G400, 425, or 430.

For you ok....

Thousands of reviews say it's the G400 Max

I had the LTDX ls as well as a few other Cobras and they were not close to the G400max for me. (For forgiveness at least)

I just got a 430max on Friday but have not hit it yet. I'm hoping it brings me the same juice.

Let us know how it goes.

The G400 is going into retirement this year after over 500 rds., will be testing all the OEM's driver heads in a few weeks. I'l! be surprised if another brand beats out the G430. The Stealth came close last year. Hmm...

The common consensus is Ping make the most forgiving drivers, but you will get other drivers mentioned here due to people’s personal preference.

Im going to be that guy. The best thing to do would be to find a reputable pro that can fit you and be honest with you - here in the UK those people don’t seem to work at the big box stores and you’re relying on a good club pro.

Really difficult to beat the Ping G425 and 430.  It looks so big behind the ball, that you just know you wont miss it.  Also, they are heavier heads with lighter adapters.  The ping adapter weighs almost half of Callaway and Titleist. 4.5 grams vs 8 grams.  That's more weight to reposition rearward in the club head, which Ping does.  If you don't think 3-4 grams is a lot, try putting 4 grams of hotmelt or lead tape on your driver.  It's not insignificant.  Ping is the MOI king overall.  There are others that are very good, but they tend to spin more for most people.

The G425 max is a normal mid-spin club.  I game the LST and Titleist TSR3, but could easily game the 425/430 Max.  Even My Golf Spy had the G425 Max as the best driver for almost any swing speed.  I think it's an engineering marvel.  It gets some hate for looks and sound, but nobody can hate on the way it plays.

I think you can find a few golf fitters working at golf superstores, but they don't grow on trees. I prefer to self-fit as my swing is consistent with my numbers.

Will try all the new OEM heads a few different shafts. Usually am able to do this at the range with the ball I play. Will take a couple days, Fun stuff.

Everyone’s experience will differ, but I played the Radspeed XB for two seasons and moved to the G430 Max just a couple of weeks ago because it was night and day for forgiveness, spin consistency (spinsistency if you want to be technical) and even picked up some ball speed.

I can’t speak for the G400 but the G430 Max left the XB in the dust.

This was / is a very underrated driver. It came out just before the original Epic with jailbreak and kinda got lost.

I’ve still got mine. It’s very forgiving.

Have a look at the Links/details of Bertha Fusion driver that i shared

(admittedly it was so ahead of its time... that even i didn't 'get' the details, until recently!)...

so many precursors/hints of the latest Paradym driver

e.g. the combination of chopped/forged composite, and the triaxial carbon weave on the crown.

Cobra Radspeed XB gets my vote. I was having issues with the big stick and this club got me back in to the swing of things if you will. Ping G400 would have been my next choice but got a deal on radspeed. Win, Win!
