Coulda did without the tungsten screw. Could have hid it and would have looked way nicer and more like s55. Im sure this has been said maybe? I didnt read. Nice though. Also not sure how i feel about the million grove lines thing. I had i59s and it didnt seem to bug me in person but its such a odd look when i think about it. Almost seems like it will spin too much lol

Yeah, to me they look about as big as the i210.

They will be smaller than the i230, which is smaller than the i210.  You can see the BS 4 iron in the bag next to the i210 4iron.  Sole is about significantly smaller.

Austin Eckroat has already been quoted saying they are smaller than the S55's

 

“Overall, I like the look a little better than the S55, but the numbers and spin rates were very consistent. Slightly smaller than the S55’s. I don’t know what the plan is, but they could definitely do combo sets with the Blueprint blades. They’re a forged head, whereas the S55 is cast, so they’re a little softer off the face than the S55’s, but I actually prefer that. They’re the best looking irons I’ve seen.”

Maybe Eckroat played the T model?

The S model in the photo looks like a big head. That said, some Ping Tour staff players like oversize iron head designs such as the 210 model.

O.K. I read the article, thanks. To my eyes the photos included in that article make the Blueprint S appear to be longer length heel-to-toe than the 

S 55-59 model. And it looks like the Blueprint S is a bit of a high toe design. Shallower at the heel and sloping up to a  significantly higher toe helps the mid to long irons appear less clunky-large looking. 50 years ago the original Ping Eye irons and the Eye 2 were high toe designs.

I own 620 CBs and these appear to have quite a bit more cavity and weight/bulk down low to me 🤷🏼‍♂️

Hoping the S Model is identical in size and profile to the iBlade. These also being “forged” make these even more attractive if so.

struggling to see the "size" comparison to i210/i230. and why would they make yet another  iron the same size as those??

 

let's remind ourselves what the object here is. to finally, I said FINALLY, get a worthy successor to the PING S55...

I'm sure they would be the same as the iBlade and i59. 20, 23.5, 27, 30.5, 34, 38, 42 and 46.

hard to tell if the blueprint forged S is s55 size, they do look bit bigger from pictures. I remember the 2013 Ping anser forged irons which I had a set of and they were in between the S series and i20 in terms of size back then. These look similar but smaller in the long irons, the 13 anser forged where a bit larger in the long irons compared to what I see in that new 4 iron. 

 

We will see if the pro's stick with them, back then bubba, Mahan etc all put the ansers in play but not for long, think Hunter stuck with them the longest but eventually went back to S series. 

 

I didn't really care for the feel of the forged 8620 in a cavity design, felt almost dense hard at impact vs their standard cast. I talked to some who did like the feel though. I've never hit the original blueprint that is forged from the same but I heard they are a bit harder feeling too.

So not a fan of the chrome finish on a Ping iron. Then again, I'm not the target demographic of this iron.
