Ping recently has done a poor job of capturing market interest by releasing products to tour and then several months later asian markets before even more months later to the US. Why offer something for people to see now and then not have it available for 6+ months... there are multiple areas of the US that have year long seasons so you cannot assume that people going into the winter don't want to buy golf equipment...

For me  it's impossible to tell the actual head size. From the video, i think they look decent but that 6 iron doesn't look compact.

PING will have a few new irons next year replacing these irons (blueprint, g710, i59 and i525). No dates yet but likely all early 2024.

I'm thinking this is why that i240 trademark sticks out like a sore thumb. There's been some discussion about splitting the "LST" off a bit, but in the end ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ we'll see. The 10k is an easy MOI story.

I remember when Ping had only the eye2 models. 
 

Then I’s and G models. 

Now Blueprints, S models, 710’s, and (y’all fill in the blanks). Except for the I210 and the G430, I don’t know the difference between them. 
 

It’s like the toothpaste aisle at the grocery store

The change to frequent introduction of new models coincided with Karsten Solheim's retirement and the switch from USA to China for manufacturing of club heads.

I did not know that Ping was producing an S and  a T  of the new Blueprint model. Thank you for that information.

Blueprint T = Similar to the OG Blueprint

Blueprint S = Similar to the S55-59 lines

Someone earlier mentioned an i59 replacement. Intrigued as to where they go with that iron, as it fits in such a popular bracket but it was an absolute failure amongst Tour Players and I kind of get the hint it didn’t do well in the retail world. Will be keeping an eye out for sure!

Love the look of them. Kind of old school Nike Vapor vibes. However did not enjoy them when testing them, and something about the grooves looked off to me. Will be keeping an eye out on the new offerings though for sure.

Hovland back to I210's at BMW for a 61? Did he just test the Blueprint S?

He was, but a lot of these guys don’t make change this late in season. Ping just got these in their hands, where Titleist had their irons in pros hands early winter this year before refining. I210 is so solid though. Those or s55 would be in my all time Ping bag.

I'm one of the few, I guess, that really likes them. I'm cheap and bought a used set, feel like my old apex grinds, look fantastic, get what I consider blade control with good consistency on mis hits. 

 

They are a touch loud though.
