 They’ve had it in studio, just no reviews yet.  Here is a video of Ian hitting it a few weeks ago

Even more shocking they didn't try to put out a in depth video about it before the show. I know it's coming soon but still lol youtube is all about being first.

Same for me - Qi10 should arrive Friday, 5S on the way Feb 29.

It's gotta be the review and info embargo so that Fujikura can do their official launch with all of their comms and marketing. I don't hold it against the TXG/CC guys or any of the trusted reviewers since they need to keep up their relationships with the manufacturers.

I don't hold anything either. But a smart approach since he got to test it early was to flim a video and release it after the embargo date.

Correct, lol. I have a feeling it's going to be a BST grab at this point for me.

It looks like a slight tweak/improvement on Velocore.  I may test it for 3 metal even though I don't get along with the OG Blue profile in general.  If Fuji releases theses for Red and Black, I'm definitely  game to test them.

Completely different profile but yeah lots are using it. 
 

Lifted a OG tx but hope everyone loves this new one when it drops.

Don’t get me wrong.  I have 3 different Ventus shafts Blue, Black and Blue TR so I’m a fan. Do I think I couldn’t play as well with a shaft that’s a lot cheaper?  No but I like the shafts and it’s fun to play what the pros play. 
 

And I’m sure I’ll give it a try because I’ve been meaning to try the 5s version. I was thinking the video might say “it’s a similar profile but feels better”  or “we are using pitch 75 instead of pitch 70.” Or something that I could maybe believe. 
 

But the video says our testing shows “more ball speed, tighter dispersion and more centered strikes.” Gimme a break. I think I’ll wait for the model that makes me hit it 300 down the middle every time  🤣 🤣

Im a fan of the Ventus - have both TR blue and standard black so really interested to see if ball speeds are increased as well as better dispersion. Building on an already prover shaft.

VF vs Blue TR? I am looking for tighter dispersion but also want to take the quick transition swing hook ball out of play. I had the Black Velo but did not like the feel hoping the VF might help? WOuld the VF also launch lower than TR BLUE? THank you as always...

VF = Smoother feel and a little tighter dispersion vs. the TR Blue.  However, the left miss is still in play.  VF feels miles better than the OG Black as well, IMO.  I saw 1* lower launch with the VF on average but spin was in the same range as the TR Blue.  TR Blue kicks in the mid section whereas the VF feels more linear with a slight bend right under the handle.

I played Ventus red last year and just got fitting into Ventus red TR this year. I’ll be curious whether Fuji brings out the red and black this year and when they might bring out the TR + series. Does anyone know how many years after OG did the TR show up?

For you that really know the Ventus line up, how would a Red TR 6-X compare to the new Blue+ in a 5-X? I am wondering if the 5-X would launch about the same as the Red TR 6-X due to the less weight.

5 years after original blue TR came out (18-22)

It usually takes awhile for the guys on tour to move onto the new stuff when it comes to shafts.  It took Tiger and JT and good 2+ months after the VF was released for them to put in play.  1K Pro White didn't really gain traction on the tours for a good year since it's release a few years back.  You get my point.

Plan on trying the new Blue 7x in a Callaway Smoke Triple Diamond 3 wood since my trusty SIM2 V2 3 wood gave up the ghost during my last round.
