Nor do & I'm sure it is a great shaft.  But, I think what we are seeing here on this thread is @Fujikura Golf has lost A LOT of goodwill on WRX for the TR snapping debacle & how they handled it.  They need to wake up on how they treat one of the largest enthusiast communities in the sport.

this is exactly what I was going to post.  I think 55 to 60g x flex shafts with low torque are what some players really want to try with these new heavy head high MOI drivers.

Really hard to say. It seems to be a top seller from WRX members and has great use on the tours. However WRX and tour usage is such a small snapshot of all golfers. For any golf equipment. What's used widely here and on tour bears little resemblance of what's happening across all golfers in the real world. Not just a specialized subset.

Idk man. I usually give oem's the benefit of the doubt, but this is even more painful than the first video on this + version. Even making jokes about upselling the same product to hit the beach.

 

That being said if OEM manufactures are gonna charge $350 for the og blue may as well scoop the new model if it matches your clubhead.

Lots of talk here about small differences, but I don't really see why that's a negative when it comes to one of the most successful shafts in recent memory. 

 

They didn't increase the price ... so as consumers, there's really nothing to lose here, unless you just really hate the new color? Incremental gains -- this vs. the OG Ventus Blue, installed in this year's driver/fairway heads vs. those from one, two, three, four generations ago, etc. -- maybe no game-changing leaps but it eventually starts to add up. (Plus, more OG Blues on the buy/sell/trade means better prices for those who aren't interested in the new version!)

 

I do hope eventually Fujikura will build out its Ventus lineup a little more with a counterbalanced option and a higher-launching hybrid shaft. We'll see!

It is the same price as the OG Blue.  Who doesn't like more options?  As a certified Ventus ho, I'm excited to try it.

Unfortunately WRX mirrors society and is full of people who are negative and complain about everything.

This should be a real good one for us, excited to get it in after checking it out this week at the show! Its a good mix of the OG Blue and the TR Blue!

Just pre-ordered one in a 5X. SS is around 105-110 and I’ve found some recent success with going a bit lighter in weight. 

 

Love the new color and gamed a 6S Blue TR all of last year. Looking forward to this new one!

I have the Ventus Blue HB shaft in my hybrid, but I’m actually tinkering with the idea of putting an Axiom in it since they’ve been sooooo good for my irons.

I wouldn’t say a jerk at all. If you’re on a forum, especially one based on new or trending stuff, you shouldn’t be there for the sake of window shopping. The whole point of being on any forum is to learn what’s trending, what’s coming and where’s the price to get what you want at the price you’re willing to pay. I was simply extending an invite 😉

Maybe not an untippd Ventus Red or DI maybe more playable than you’d think at 45.5”.
