It could very well be a new shaft/product, but on the Good Good instagram story last night the guy said they were at Callaway getting fit for new AI Smoke woods and Callaway irons all with Fujikura shafts..and that they’d be doing a collab with Fujikura just like they did with Callaway. I suppose that could just mean sponsorship and that the Good Good guys would only be playing Fuji shafts now like Micah Morris..I’d love to see a new hybrid shaft or CB driver shaft so hoping that’s what it is. Or a blue Axiom shaft would be pretty sweet. Timing on the Instagram posts does seem a little coincidental though. Got my notifications set on Instagram until the 23rd

fuji has so many lines of shafts that i'm surprised the populous believes theres distinct differences between all them. 

sure, there are differences...but to have 20 different variations of speeder, ventus, ventus tr, with or without velocore, etc...they're diluting their own tech and any perceived differences between their own lines.

To be fair to Fuji, if a company like taylormade came to you and said "hey we'll pre-buy thousands of shafts for a large sum of money but you have to make them look like your flagship popular products so we can trick people and sell more driver heads" you would probably do it too.

Thats all I think about when I hear "Good Good". It's "Kwon is dope, everyone else is fairly neutral, but one of those guys REALLY needs to shut up". I still don't know which one he is and I don't plan to find out. 😅

I asked around and am now leaning towards a new shaft (was sworn to secrecy 😂) so maybe the timing/color scheme was just coincidental then and the “collab” they referred to on the Good Good page was more like a sponsorship where they’ll post videos of fittings and play Fujikura shafts. I did see one of the Good Good guys hitting the light blue shaft with what looked like a fairway wood and Ian Fraser looked like he was testing it in driver a few days ago. Guess we’ll see on the 23rd!

I heard the new shaft is the Velocore+ which is just a better version and more stable than the regular Velocore. Blue coming out first and then red/black later. Probably will cost more.

Kwon and Brad are REALLY REALLY good, Ben when he plays is also very good (and probably the funniest of the group by far).  Garret I just kinda dislike in general, Bubbie, Steve, and Matt are all pretty miserable to listen to anymore.

 

They are a good "getting into golf YT" channel, but once you have enough of them there are so many other solid options.  Bryan Bros is my favorite by far, I like Bob Does Sports and Busta Jack as well as Bryson's channel.  I mostly just watch YT golf when I can't play and need a golf fix.

Agree, past QC issues and how they are handled are entirely relevant to new releases.

Man this went from a topic about a cult following shaft getting upgraded/new profile to bagging on a social media influencers. And then about the quality. Good Good is awesome and they promote the growth of the game and I will leave it at that. Warranties should be handled by the retailer that sells the shaft. 
 

Let’s gets back to the topic. I have seen 1/23 as the date and I have heard a month before a press release. Wondering if they are using speeder platinum/diamond premium materials mixed with Velocore tech. What’s the scoop with this new shaft?

Similiar numbers to when he was using reg blue and swinging faster a couple years ago. Very intrigued for what this profile is vs regular blue. I strongly disliked the tr blue I had for 2 weeks

Speaks volumes on who/what they care about most!

Fuji makes shafts that in my opinion are the best in the world for performance, but they do not take care of their clients.  Everyone has the right to know that before spending almost $400 on one shaft.

Theres already a thread and a subforum for that. This is specifically for something new and unreleased. Not sure why its so hard to understand.

This shaft is called a Velocore +. It's based off of OG Blue with new materials and layouts with the fibers.

They are starting to sound like Mitsubishi with all of their "blue" profiles. TB, 1K Blue, AV Blue, AV Blue SFW, Kai'li Blue, C6 Blue...it's too much.  These material differences are going to be noticeable for less than about 5% of the golf population in terms of material changes in distance/accuracy.

I'm also somewhat confident that this will replace the OG Blue in the line and become the regular shaft in addition to the TR line so there won't be another version in current production.

The new shaft is a Ventus Blue Velocore + which is just a refresh of the OG Ventus Blue with slightly stronger and more refined Velocore. It is hard to imagine that the shaft will be revolutionary, but, if Fuji can figure out it's QC issues then this could be a winner. I just don't think switching from OG Ventus Blue to this new one will be worth the price tag.

It's hard to understand because no thread on here stays 100% on topic. Even the modified version of this thread isn't purely speculation on what this shaft may be. Not to mention the only reason it became a topic was because people were trying to argue that it isn't/wasn't an issue. Does golfwrx go clean up the 10k thread when people start shaft talk? No. Even worse, do they delete unrelated good good talk as they clean up THIS thread? No. But when people talk negatively on a company that's sponsored a some giveaways on here, they are quick to respond. None of this would even be a topic on here if Fuji would've been a "stand up" company like people on here want to believe they are. But it's us that's the problem for talking about it in the wrong thread, even though it's relevant to this topic. It would be like people talking about carbon face failures in the qi10 thread. Don't see how that would be an issue. I'm not sure how you don't understand this... 

 

Anyway, I agree let's move on. Maybe someday this will be called golfwrX and stuff won't disappear overnight. Sorry had to make that joke 🤣

 

I would be surprised if it's just a straight up new blue that's replacing the old one. Feel like if it was that simple we would've seen some pros testing it first, not just Ian.
