Currently in bag is a Yes! Nicky at 34".

Also at 34", we have the Snake Eyes Viper Tour Sv2

And again at 34" is the Wilson Staff 8813

At 35", we have the Cleveland Huntington Beach 1

And finally, checking in at 35.5” to 36”, we have an original Anser 3, in MgBr.

 

Also have a 35” Cleveland Designed By that I've used this season.

I had a Yes! Nicky briefly last year. I liked everything about it except the shaft length, which was under 33".

It was like putting with a lollipop stick.

Ping Vault 2.0 Dale Anser (silver). It knocked a Toulon out of the bag and outgunned everything in the shop. And I rolled everything. They’re great putters. I bet they would be more popular with a more normal stock grip.

I’m playing 6 in rotation, although will move on the Betti #2 and Odyssey Exo I suspect, seem to be playing better with the mallets with one big alignment line, they inspire more confidence. My putting has been very good recently though, best it’s ever been by a distance due to a new stroke.

Sold the three face-balanced/double-bend shaft putters as they were not getting used.

Personally, I feel I prefer a putter to have a toe-hang of around 35° and a nice soft solid feel.

The ProType is my #1, then the Scotty, the White Hot will never be sold & is in semi-retirement.

Always looking at new releases, but these are just money & will take some beating.

Just took my newly acquired Scotty Cameron Studio Stainless Newport out to the course for the first time for a quick nine tonight...

 

....19 putts.

 

Now, to be fair, I've never used a big, fat grip before, which this one came with. It's actually quite comfortable to hold, but my distance feels were way off, which meant my glutes weren't activating, ultimately resulting in my worst putting round of the year. I actually wasn't putting too bad with the previous putter I was using, but felt like switching it up a bit.

I used my SL today and had an awful time with it. Several rounds with milled mallets have been excellent, but then today my distance control was off, not just slightly off either, way off. I left everything very short, very very short. Dreadful.

 

Had got in tune with it again for the final few holes, but odd it was so different to what I’ve been rotating. First poor putting round for about 15 rounds.

 

(It may well have been because the greens have been drenched in rain over the last few days).

I've been playing my Edel E-3 majority of the year and while it has been great I've been finding the grip recently a bit uncomfortable. It has the Edel Round which is basically a very large non-tapered iron grip. It's not bad but when I'm second guessing a putt I'm adjusting my grip a lot and feel like it's throwing me off. So might order a Pure Big Dog Grip which I feel like I just lock into.

 


 

 

So I'll look at my stash and see what I want to play which might be my Argolf Avalon which the 1 time I used this year putted awesome.

I'm using the $99 putter that was featured last year on The Site Which Must Not Be Named. After four rounds, it's working for me.

 

I prefer putting with my 70's vintage Ansers but when I start missing multiple short putts a round I seem to need to go back to a big, clunky, inelegant face-balanced mallet. Ugly is skin deep but missing 2-footers hurts right down to the bone.

I tried one the "proper way" and I just don't sink as many as I do this way. Maybe I should go back the other way and see what happens.

Cleveland classic 3 that I purchased new in like '08. @oneaugusta did a torch and paint job on it for me years ago and did it very well I might add. I have tried to replace it with more expensive putters many times over the years. But it knows the truth. It's the oldest, cheapest piece of golf equipment I own and I love it.
