I think I could play with just about anything to be honest. The only OEMs I might struggle a bit with would be Srixon purely for their drivers (as I find them to promote a bit more draw than I'd prefer) and maybe Mizuno, as again their drivers are a touch spinney for me. However, if it's free, I wouldn't complain and just learn my yardages with the new clubs and be on my way.

I could go two ways... I've settled into a nice little imaginary 13-club contract with Cobra (putter excluded), so it would be easy to add a bag and head-to-toe Puma apparel/shoe/glove contract, and then keep putter and ball with Cleveland/Srixon.

 

Alternatively, if I broke it up a bit more, I'd probably go 10- or 11- club with Cobra, Wedges/Putter/Ball with Cleveland/Srixon, Apparel/Shoe/Glove with Under Armour, and leave the bag up to the highest bidder.

 

Off-course endorsements are an entirely different story...

It wouldn’t be a stretch for me to move away from my Mizuno 900T irons.

 

I would have a hard time getting away from my Ping Redwood Putter, but their Oddysey putters have many majors.

 

Their tour balls and clothing attire are great as well.

Titleist, PING or TaylorMade I would be happy with.... maybe even Callaway. The hardest thing for me with PING would be getting to their 11 club demand including the putter... but I actually prefer their woods over any OEM.

 

The other three would be super easy as I’d use Vokey wedges and a Cameron no matter who sponsored me. TM and Callaway would be easy to do Dr, 3W, driving iron, blades...

Free agent cherry picking is a luxury that's hard to give up -- even though it would be nice if someone else was floating the bill for my equipment needs.

 

Mainstream brands? Would have been Nike had they still been in the equipment game. Now though, probably Titleist or TaylorMade. Both make great irons with TaylorMade having the upper hand on woods, Titleist on wedges and putter.

 

Otherwise something like Artisan Golf. Handmade wedges and irons by Mike Taylor and one of their putters. Then woods and a driving iron from TaylorMade.

It would be nice to have multi sponsorships, but I understand why some OEMS want an 11 club minimum if not more.

 

I personally think the putter and clothing are the most important for marketing purposes. Putters are the only clubs that get close ups, the rest kind of all look the same when the camera is 20ft. away, minus Taylormade with their M line woods.

It'd be between Titleist and Mizuno and Titleist would have to win because I pretty much can't even stand to look at any other driver on the market (Epic SZ might be okay but I don't like the rest of the Cally lineup). And the driver is the most important club in my bag, so Titleist wins. Plus, you get great wedges, great putter and the #1 ball. Man I'd miss my Mizzy's though...

For me its an easy choice....Cobra as I've gravitated towards their woods since the ZL Encore days. Also a big fan of their irons too, although Mizuno would be a very close second for me. Plus I would get a cool clothing closet from Puma golf too.

Callaway for me. Their equipment just seems to work for me. Plus, in addition to clubs they have Travis Mathew and their own apparel line, headwear, shoes, balls, gloves and bags.
