yeah they do look a little different. The call their core “gradient” so maybe it’s supposed to be a gradual change between the inner layers . Who knows?

PREMIUM GOLF BALL MARKER

 

The sought after center slice which includes the brand/alignment marker. These markers are approximately 1/8th of an inch thick and 43mm in diameter.

I started golf when original Penta was released. I used it frequently and I've been accustomed to Tmag feel.

 

I have new Penta and PentaTP but I am not cutting those new balls just yet.

 

 

Surprising to see that TPx and Lethal looks like exactly same ball. And on first glance, RBZ and my favorite project (a) 2018 looked like a same ball but the core is different and cover thickness is noticeably different.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Lethal is my favorite ball....the TP5 was great but felt different than the lethal...must be in the cover technology.....I knew the balls were very similar,but obviously new tech is very noticeable in the TP5

They are there. The outer part is actually two layers of the same color for the white ball. The thin urethane layer is on top of a white plastic mantle. For the yellow ball, the urethane is clear on top of a yellow mantle.

There is why the yellow is so durable , it’s hidden underneath a layer of protective clear urethane . Great info!

Re Ufli speed and soft, they perform quite well for me, but the cover has split or cracked on several balls. Not talking fish gills or cover wear.....the cover has actually split and no longer usable. And no cart path or trees, not that it should matter.

I have only about 27 holes with each and no issues.

 

Curious how many holes before the balls cracked ?

a buddy of mine in Ireland plays a Quattro ball...do u have that to cut open? That in comparison with a ksig 4 piece would be very interesting...

Good question, not sure in how long....the first time I noticed it, my playing partner picked up on green on a gimme and said it looks like it's cracked and sure enough. Has happened x2 since. If again I'll save and take a pic.
