I am wondering which one of the how just the standand ATX's Tours Green/Blue would compare to the BB/DI? I am assuming that would be ATX Green/BB, and ATX Tour Blue/DI?

Wait, what? This whole time I'm assuming 'BB' meant 'AD-BB' as in like Blue Bullet. Green BB, what is that? I also don't know what a blue DI is either. There's an AD-BB and an AD-DI. Two different shafts, different profiles, different colors. The DI is the creamsicle color (orange/white) while the BB is blue/white.

He was stating the comparison of the ATX to the GD line. ATX green = GD AD-BB, ATX blue = GD AD-DI. At least that is the way I read it, and I don't know if that comparison would be true.

So I'm going to assume you're going to do this again next year (even if it's via public pressure). Can I make a suggestion? Video it. Seriously, the whole thing including thoughts on feel, maybe some behind the scenes stuff of putting clubs together, etc. You can even do it in a British accent if you want. I think you'd get a ton of hits on YouTube. OEMs might even supply you with some of the heads and shafts because it's free advertising for them. Just my $.02.
youtube reviews of golf equipment are not credible if the tester doesn't have a British accent.
This is true...maybe dress up as the Geico Gecko and have everyone guess is he English or Australian. That covers the green suit too.

In all seriousness, I think people would love to see a video and this might be the first video of an all out driver battle with multiple exotic shafts. Most just use the stock shaft and compare a couple of drivers. This would be EPIC.

Pure--how does the ATX Tour Green compare to the Rogue?
Green has much more of a load sensation, the Rogue feels more boardy in comparison. Stiffer butt/mid than the ATX Green, but still feels good, not super smooth by some standards, just a very dependable and consistent shaft, almost like a TS7.2 but feels better.

Tai, your the man for doing this. Stop hitting the ball so gosh darn far though!

Seriously though and I'm sure it's in this thread some where, did you even try a Kiyoshi in the SLDR 460 heads? I've got the white in my 12* head and am very satisfied but if there are more yards out there for me, I want!

The atx green was great for me and I only swing 105mph with driver. Id like to see a driver shootout of someone with a more average swing speed. Always see these writeups of guys with 120mph swings in X shafts and heads. I could be wrong, does most of the wrx community have swing speeds in the upper portion of pga tour average? lol I dont get much out of these shootouts besides it seeming like these guys are showing off how far they hit driver

Ugh, you again.... I know you won't see it but this post comes off as you bashing the OP for what he's done, which is give us a couple hours of entertainment on his dime.

Instead of bashing you like I really want to, how about I do a similar shootout just for you with my pedestrian SS if you ease up on the criticism? Give me a week or two. I'd hate to see another one of the good posters stop contributing because of you.

Back on track, Pure if there is one thing you could change or redo what would it be? I'm thinking maybe manufacturer you didn't try or something like that. Where would the 913 fit in, behind the Sldr and Callaway but ahead of everything else? Assume you hit the Callaway decent enough if you got it on the course.

I am not sure ss matters, you cant please everyone. If i did it with 98-102 ss some people would want faster ss to know if the heads spun to much with faster ss.

Try stopping by the instruction forums instead of only equipment, might see some useful posts of mine. As far as writeups, I guess that was my original statement, why dont we see the average joe SS writeups instead of only guys swinging 120 mph. Just a retorical question. I think it would be alot more helpful to the members unless the majority are swinging that fast.

I think this comment on the first page sums up my point....."Your a monster Pure! Great thread!"

Why can't we just appreciate the time and effort that Pure out into this thread, and the shoot out. It makes absolutely no sense for anyone to critique his review or process. He was not paid to do it, and did it on his own accord, and was nice enough to share the results.

Because the majority of us average speed guys don't have the game, time, or money to do these shoot outs AND write ups as well as Tai does. Let's also not forget the entertainment aspect of seeing a good golfer hit BOMBS that are track man certified... I'd say that just the entertainment aspect is pretty helpful to members here.

That is one hell of a write up; big ole hat tip to Pure745 putting that together, that looked like it required a serious investment of not only time but also an out lay of some serious $$$.

Nice follow up to your 2-8-14 post, excellent work. Im a bit surprised that the SLDR 460, was that much longer than the 430.

Again thanks for all that work

Why can't we just appreciate the time and effort that Pure out into this thread, and the shoot out. It makes absolutely no sense for anyone to critique his review or process. He was not paid to do it, and did it on his own accord, and was nice enough to share the results.

I appreciate it for taking the time to write it up, I just see these all the time. I think it will benefit the guys swinging 115+, rest no so much besides a nice read. Ive bought speeder TS shafts/low spinning/launching shafts and tour heads after reading these kind of write ups only to find that I had no business playing it. Couldnt feel the head, couldnt load the shaft, lost distance ball flight too low etc. You need to be swinging 115+ for this kind of equipment and the average joe needs to know that.
