How does the bio cell pro compare to the +. I owned the cell+ earlier in the season, but for some reason mine sounded like the one from the crossfield video, so I got rid of it. I'm bagging the SLDR and really like it, but I need at least 3 drivers. Hahaha. I still have my ACP from last year as well. I'm going to pick up another + or a pro.
What was the temp and what balls did you use? I've noticed the + is sensitive to cold temperatures and range balls. It definitely sounds louder on cooler days or using range balls. When the temp started getting above 60 degrees and I used ProVs, it sounded much more muted.

How does the stock red tie play in the plus in terms of flex? My SS is 105-108 with a pretty smooth transition. Trying to decide between S or X.

I think I've settled my decision on the BC+ (despite the price difference from the non plus).
I find it plays pretty true to flex...the stiff isn't soft, but doesn't feel overly stiff either.

I'm right around your SS, and found the S red tie to be perfect for me. I came from a Fuji Fuel X shaft in my previous driver, and prefer the red tie.

I am coming from Classic 8.5 w Miyazaki black 61s. I keep seeing people lofting up 1-2 degree from previous driver when moving to the +. I have never been able to hit a driver with loft north of 9.5 that didn't look like a popup. The beauty of the new drivers is you can move around on lofts, and find what works best. But as a starting point, would 9.5 be the suggestion?

Obviously was not fit, i kept reading all the positive talk about this driver. So put in a bid of $175 on EBAY and thought well, I 99% won't get it. What do I know I won. Red Ties stiff, blue. Damn my paypal account for being high from selling my Reds tickets (the Reds and Drivers seem to be the bane of my existence).

First Cobra anything for me, So interested to see how this works out. For the price I figure I can try this thing out, and if I hate it for some reason, I can get out of it most unscathed.

Appreciate the responses, will go with the Stiff which will be easier to find anyway. Stock shaft will also likely get replaced but would be nice to try out/throw in another head.
I've posted this before but it's worth posting again - don't sleep on the stock shaft just because it's a stock shaft. It pairs up really well with the head. I also tried the S flex and it was very stable for the stated weight and flex.

Is it confirmed to be a real red tie? There were no 'made for' or Cobra markings on the shaft when I looked at the + in person last weekend but I didn't look too closely either.
Real deal, just has different colors and graphics to match the different color cobra heads.

Unsure about flex profile but it definitely has different graphics than a real red tie. No question. It doesn't say Cobra but it has some rainbow coloring inside the lettering (like the grip end caps) and the lettering is smaller than a real Matrix.

This doesn't mean it's not flexing exactly like the REAL one. But it's different in appearance.

Cobra has indicated publicly that it is a real deal shaft with different markings. Of course, they could be lying. ;)

It was probably 50-60* during the period I was using it most. I hit it side by side with my ACP, and the ACP sounded and felt great, while the bio cell + was loud and felt harsh. Maybe, it was the temp...

I agree. My ss is probably just under 100 and I was able to make the stiff red tie work. All the 'tie' shafts have felt a bit boardier than I like, but its still a solid shaft with the + head.

Will the smaller head do any difference to the "standard" 460cc head? Less forgiving or?

What's different between the older ZLE and the Bio Cell+ in term of performance, sound, forgiveness and so on?

Thanks :)
I came from a Wishon 919THI (460cc) and notice basically no difference in forgiveness with the +. It is a great club. Choosing between the + and regular Bio comes down to preferred spin. If you want less spin and lower launch, go with the + or Pro. In terms of spin:
Most: Regular
Less: +
Least: Pro

I demoed one again and I'm finally getting. I found a blue one on ebay with a xstiff redtie for 269.00.

Now the question is what about the sleeves, do I need to get left handed sleeves for all of my other shafts I want to play around with. If I can't find left handed ones what affects does using a right handed one in the left handed head?

I am a tech rep for Cobra. Literally every person that has hit the BC+ has walked away with one ordered one.

question for you - i love my BC+...looking for less spin while still keeping some forgiveness. my miss is just off the sweet spot towards the toe (1.6 handi)...would the BCP be a good option?

What a great driver...super long and forgiving. Super low spin averaging 1900 - 2000 with a SS around 108. I like the Red Tie shaft and the stiff felt perfect.
I'm really interested in this club and have a swing speed just a bit less than you -- 105 --107. My current spin is around 2500 -- I'm a little worried that dropping down to 2000 might actually cost be distance (particularly in the carry). Is 2000 about right for you for maxing out distance?

Totally depends on what the launch is as well. Getting it up around 14-15* would certainly be better than something around 11*, which is probably what most people are used to seeing with a driver.

With a ballspeed of 155, spin at 2000 and the launch of 12 vs 15, the 15* launch will carry about 12 yards further (262 vs 250)

EDIT: 12* launch and 2500 spin, you get 256 carry, so right in the middle of those two. For record, I always use a site I found on here (http://flightscope.com/products/trajectory-optimizer/) to look at what launch and spin will do. It's kinda fun to play around with it a little bit. Knowing your swing speed, you should be able to get a good ballspeed estimation by using 1.48 as a multiplier. Have fun.

No offense, but what an absolutely useless list of information. You seriously wasted all of our time. For maximum distance, optimal spin rates are based on ball speed (swing speed) and angle of attack. Handicap means nothing.

After a month of testing drivers, bought the Bio + in Silver with the Red Tie in stiff tonight. I also placed an order for 2 shaft adaptors and will be putting them on a Grafalloy Blue/White and VTS Silver shafts for a trial run. My Blue/White shaft is MONEY in the Cobra ZLE so I'm very curious as to how it might perform in the Bio +.
