Now that we're well into 2019, it's time to take this thread to the next level, onward and upward. I'm eyeing a number of tournaments to play in this year and am working hard on my swing and fitness in the offseason, and am hoping to travel quite a bit for some golf adventures. I was happy to win my club championship last summer, but missing the NY Mid Am by 2 shots and some poor play in the fall left me very frustrated. I'm going to put a big push on this year to improve my swing and break some new ground with my game both recreationally and in tournament play.

 

 

 

 

The first big event to chronicle in the thread for the year begins next Monday... I'll be heading to Orlando, FL to attend the PGA Merchandise Show!

 

It's going to be a club ho's paradise. Before anyone says anything, I'm setting the over/under on new clubs in the bag at 3.5. Place your bets.

 

 

 

 

If anyone has anything they'd like me to check out/take pictures of, etc, let me know! I'll do my best to cover it all. I'll be attending the demo day at Orange County National (of course) and seeing everything there is to offer on the exhibit floor. I'm looking forward to some warm weather, getting out on the golf course, and meeting up with some friends. If any of you will be at the show, drop me a message, I'd love to meet up. Schnee, have you ever considered starting up a YouTube channel and vlogging your golfing exploits? You seem to constantly be traveling, playing the nicest courses, trying out (and purchasing) the best equipment, eating at the best restaurants. If you've gotten this many views on your GolfWRX forum thread, I can only imagine how many views your YouTube channel would get. And especially with something like the Demo Day, I know I'd much rather see some videos than some stills (although I am anxiously awaiting your posting the photos here in this thread, no doubt).

Then you can start a weekly livestream where you have the best coaches come on and answer questions. Maybe start up a clinic series sharing your insights about the golf swing. All while taking on amateurs and pros from around the area in some matches to test your abilities and showcase others.
