Completed my DHy trinity with an 18° Adams Super DHy. Love these as long iron replacements. Now I have the 18°, 21°, and 24°. This one came with an unknown steel shaft so I’ll be putting in a Graphite Design Tour AD YSQ 80x shaft I have kicking around.

I also got a new wedge, but... 🤣

I was actually putting a shaft in it when I realized it was backwards.

Does painting the face affect performance at all, and is the club still conforming if you were to play in events that cared?

This is actually my last two purchases.  Bought a SIM Ti in late November.  Found it used at Global Golf, came to 210CAD shipped.  It was listed as "value" condition,  so a few nicks in the paint,  but otherwise not bad.

Surfing the other day,  and saw a SIM 2 Ti for $259, and they had a promo on for $50 off an order of 250+, so for the same price as the Sim,  i got the SIM2.  Also listed as "value" condition,  but again,  not bad.   The "very good" condition was$355.  A no brainer for me to save a hundred bucks and take on some paint nicks.

Going to try them both and see what i like best.   Could also look at throwing a 3w shaft in one at 17* and play the other at 20ish. We'll see

At first glance,  I'm surprised at how much more compact the SIM 2 head is compared to the SIM.  Looks a lot closer to my m5 3w.20220122_092059.jpg.33f34cabeac2cb84e5e5cb8d7f4db67d.jpg20220122_092114.jpg.647b67ceb91c3421ecad1c295c382b2d.jpg20220122_092135.jpg.2480473021a1c581d5a56f21a4c2795d.jpg

Is that the new Toulon series? Where did you find it, and do they have more 🙂 ?

Yep, that's the new Toulon series.

I live in New Zealand. Bought it from the Golf Warehouse on Newton Road, Auckland. They had a 35" Las Vegas db and the h4.5 left. I got the 34" db

On order… Tour length with Raw White  shaft. Can’t wait to put this thing to the test.

Very cool.  Hit THAT and the little sister LS 3w yesterday. Couldn't get my spin above 1600 on indoor trackman, Funny thing is that I was getting an absurdly low 1600 with the 3w also.  Sound was nice on both.

(I play a SIM2 9° standard with 70g HZRDUS, SS around 110 when loose.)

My Cleveland Launcher XL Lite was just too light for me. Ended up trading it on this older but much better feeling Bridgestone JGR that my fitter had on the used rack. Feels good, happy to have traded 'down' for it. Shaft is 15g heavier. I somehow swing it faster, hit it 11yds farther with a tighter dispersion, and it gives much better feedback. I'll use this until I feel like I've elevated my game enough to buy something brand new.
