I know this is a discussion regarding the yellow v3 balls right now, but has anyone experienced inconsistency with the kirkland gloves?  Some are thicker leather than others.  Lot of variation in thickness.

Edit: meant v3! lol

My wife got me a 4 pack last year and I've had no issues. Good glove at a great price.

Ordered two double dozen boxes yesterday.

Just couldn't stand it any longer!

Zoysia on the home course is turning yellow and with temps in the low to mid thirties tonight and tomorrow night will be nearly white before long.

That's when the yellow balls work best for me.

God I hate winter.......

My yellows just arrived today, of course it's raining outside all day. Did notice that these were manufactured in China whereas the V3s I have been playing all season were manufactured in Vietnam. Wonder if that is why some have experienced performance differences.

The white ones seem to be a pretty even mix between China and Vietnam. I have only seen yellow from China so far.

Could be worse. When the grass turns white where I'm from, it's from snow.

Yeah I guess there's "white" grass and then there's "WHITE" grass.

Luckily here in upstate SC winter is not to awful bad. I usually play if it's upper 40s below that Im not playing. But usually get the temps to play at least couple times a week. We have Diamond Zoyzia on my home 9 hole course but lots of times they will paint the greens. But the Fairways stays dormant so yes I use the Yellow as well (not Kirkland's though) cause they're much easier to see

I guess I'm lucky being in upstate SC Summer was not that hot but hot, 90s But we have Mild Winters with couple snows but that's about it. I usually get to play couple times week through winter unless it's below 45 then I don't play.

I'll play as long as temps above 35 and less than 15 mph winds.  And as long as there isn't any standing snow.

I wish I could but being 50yrs old and after heart surgery I can't take the cold like I use to. Right now we have mid 60s for highs. It is literally perfect playing right now!

i guess i have to add another weather related reason i wont golf that i hadn’t thought of. Snow on the ground. I generally also dont golf when its windy (15+mph sustained), rainy (and i mean downporing steady rain) and cold (below 33°) at the same time and in thunderstorm’s.

something about lightning and metal sticks dont really mix. no ksig magic will work in those conditions.

I was at my local Costco yesterday.  Nothing but pocket warmers and winter items where the golf balls are usually kept.  😔

The golf balls in my local Costco are never in the same place for more than 2 weeks. This time of year they let the golf inventory run out.

The local Costcos near me constantly move them around the warehouse.

I'll be 57 in January.  I totally understand.  I dress in layers and my surgically repaired knee gets some Tylenol, Advil or Aleve before and after the round.  LOL

Costco is notorious for moving stuff around so that you stumble across something you can't live without while looking for what you're there for.

But also my store moves out of season stuff to the back corner. They always seem to have balls, but they tuck them away this time of year.

He tested the V2 in video, but he did reply to a comment that he would try to get some V3's to test.

Good catch. Based on his comment he knew he was testing the V2 as well. As for the review itself, he confirms what many of us thought about the V2. It will be interesting to see what he thinks of the V3.

... Key phrase that pretty much sums things up "price to performance ratio" makes the Kirkland tough to beat. Considering the V3 spins less than the V2 makes it even more compelling.

Beginner, I'm 58, and had open heart surgery (2016), a ruptured tricep (2019), knee surgery for a torn meniscus  and slight tear of the acl (2020), and a stroke 2 months ago! I'll golf as long as there's no snow on the ground!

it's funny how my weather tolerance changes from season to season. In the middle of summer, when golf abounds, I may decide not to golf because of a steady drizzle. Come winter I'll get out any time the temp threatens to crack 40 and the ground is clear. Unfortunately after the time changes back off daylight saving time there are very few chances where there is also enough light.

I hope all of your medical issues are behind you and the upcoming years are kind. I'm in my 70s and often think of the Mickey Mantle quote "if I knew I would live this long I would have taken better care of myself".

At 70 I am not a long hitter and the difference between a 265yd drive and a 255 yd drive is not something I can ignore.

I wish my game was consistent enough to notice a difference of 10 yards on drives. For me, it is either a good swing or a bad swing, could be 220 yards or 290 yards. 🤮

I did just pick up a box of the V1X left Dash to see if it helps my drive at all.

Yeah it's not that I don't mind playing in cold, but I have to take my wife with me due to her health. So I just try and take care of her moreso than me in cold. I can handle it just a wee bit better than she can. Hope you're doing well after all that. But that's why I say I'm lucky where I live cause we have lots of days through winter where it's 45-50°
