Very simply, Justin Rose is winning this. To torture me. Story of my life...

 

I did a three player pool for $100 with my brother-in-law on Wednesday afternoon with best combined score wins, but if picked the winner you win 3x! I had DJ, Rory and Rose. When DJ went down with an injury that night, instead of just picking someone else, I just panicked and decided to cancel it as I felt he had big advantage now (he picked Jordan, Phil and Rickie).

 

He already texting me to remind me "scared money never wins" and him sarcastically thanking me for canceling. GRRR

I have never understood this line of thinking in golf. You must have severe issues, if you can't wait to see a 37 year old man struggle on Sunday at a Major.

There is no Golf Channel coverage of the Masters. It is on ESPN and CBS. That's like complaining that watching Ebert and Siskel isn't nearly as good as seeing a movie.

 

Golf Channel it's just filling up their time talking ABOUT the Masters. About as entertaining as the drunk guy sitting at the end of the bar at the golf course.

Brave is much broader than that. It doesn't require violence or a threat. Brave for one person might be routine for another. For example, for a person who fears speaking in public, it would be brave to do so.

Sergio even tugged my heart string (there's only 1) there with the way he said " i wish i could talk to (Seve) when Dottie asked him what advice he might give. I almost always have a single guy I'm rooting for on saturday night at the masters. This year I just hope the Sunday performance lives up

 

i've noticed the "golf sucks without Tiger" usual suspects are conspicuously absent from this thread. And thank god for it.,

Folks, "everything is relative" , my best friend , a Navy Seal "courageous" , making a charge on Sunday is courageous in its own right in the world golf of at that venue. If the logos is going to be we cannot adapt words from the English language that are cross applicable; one cannot say a player is intelligent because his IQ is not that of "Albert", that seams unreasonable???

 

I think it's going to be a Sunday for the history books with some lead changes and some good story lines in play. Does Sergio get it done, Jordan I am going to say is going to get hot with the putter and come storming in , or does Justin Rose create space?

Going for 2 off the pine straw from behind trees on the back 9 of Sunday @ the masters when you're in contention to win is brave as f*ck, just to cite one example. Bravery is widely applicable, doesn't have to include dodging bullets although you gotta be brave to do that crazy sh*t no doubt.

We watched yesterday and we felt pretty good about how we hung in there, but it was tough and we had to dig in and remember we've watched The Masters for almost 50 years. We think if we get things organized and prepare bravely we can be ready on time and we can watch this thing to the end today and my team can celebrate if we are meant to come through on top.
