This one may be a stretch but every time you cut your hand or finger while in the kitchen or doing a home project and the first thing you do, even sometimes before the bleeding is stopped, you go grab a club and make sure the location of the cut won’t affect your grip

I did this a month ago, and the first thing I did was try to grip a club.

 

when I couldn’t (and had to cancel a couple of games), I was more annoyed about the golf than I was the inability to move my finger for 3 weeks!!

Another one... when you specially order boutique forged irons, after paying $500 for a professional fitting, waiting 5 months for them to be made,delivered, and only giving you a week to play them before it's too cold to play.

I was told I'm a true WRX'er because I have a legit US address just for stuff to be delivered. Saves money on duty, customs, shipping fees, and enables me to get stuff from people who are too lazy or too stupid to figure out how to ship stuff to Canada.

Last time I went down on the basketball court with a semi-significant injury, I can still remember thinking, as I fell to the floor, how much golf will I miss.

That's a last resort Sir. The ortho basically said there were 4 levels of possible treatment and the first is pain tolerance/management. With an oversized shoe, it really isn't terrible and gives everyone something else to laugh at.
