I have a change of heart, yesterday I said Phil will win but I have changed my mind realizing that he makes too many mistakes coming down the stretch. I expect him to falter and come in third place behind Sharma and Garcia.

Could be jt since he was hot yesterday but he'd need -7. . Don't see many more doing it. Dj could. But he's need -6 or better. He hasn't shown to be that hot this week.

golfers with long backswings have done well as they get older like VJ, Tom Watson and the epitome of them all Sam Snead..

 

i only saw Sam live in 1980 when he played here and at 68 or 69 his backswing was just a bit short of parallel and he could still hit it more than 250 yards with wooden drivers and shot below par IIRC..

 

Phil's only problem will be the physical ailments that go with age but if his superb short game remains he will continue to win well into his 50s or even 60s....in the Senior tour.

hey.. im at a place in life where the only way i get a pat on the back is if im flexible.... my 9 year old asked me today if i knew what "right click" meant as he eplained how he back doored something on his school laptop..... so im officially too old and stupid to comprehend what a 9 year old is doing.... lol

Phil smartly played the 18th tee as he should have keeping the ball in the fairway. That has been my complaint all along about him, when the pressure gets on he makes the bad decision. Today he made a fantastic decision and won the tournament. Maybe he has read some of my posts and the strategy within them.
