Inbee is a killer and I would think she slept a bit easier than Pernilla. Inbee's putt on 17 was just so stupid to get it back to -14.

I have to say, very impressed with Pernilla, thought she was done after the first 4 holes. How many 5-6 footers did she make....?

 

I would just like to see it go a few more holes this morning,and hope it is won with a birdie or better.

I was actually surprised that they holed out their final putts in the dark. I'm quite sure they knew they were going to have to finish this morning, so why risk missing a short putt in the dark when they could have marked the ball, and asked to suspend play?

This is one of the two best majors for women and they cheapen it with a repetitive hole playoff of the same hole. Yes it's for TV, but this is supposed to be a major championship. I watched all the regulation play and one playoff hole, then left it to the DVR. Great exciting championship; I just don't like the playoff format. Oh, it's probably a must so the winner can jump in the pond, sort of hokey isn't it.

 

 

You can't watch ladies golf anyway without taping it, excessive commercials and meaningless talk by commentators, even more than the PGA Tour.

Spot on. Lindberg never gave up, performed when she needed to and matched Inbee putt for putt. Regardless of the outcome, she's proven she can perform on the biggest stages.

Same here.. Surprised that she has not won anything.. She's been on tour since 2010..

 

Only thing I don't like is her pre-shot routine.. I just want to yell "Hit the ball already!!"..

They were trying to get that thing over with. There was so little daylight left, I wouldn't have started, but neither one of them flinched and made their putts by the spotlights and scoreboards. You have to give the edge to Inbee, but would LOVE to see Pernilla take it. She was as solid as I've seen her in ANY of her tournaments. She has nothing to lose, because she's not supposed to be there.

You renting the jet and picking us all up. It only makes sense, you can get DP4 and Argonne on the way to get me. Maybe they’ll let us play a round when the girls are done!

There is a first time for all winners and I am still hoping this is Pernilla's time. As for the slow play... she was certainly being more cautious and deliberating more on her shots Sunday but that's understandable and deserving of some forgiveness as she's never been in this situation before and I am sure she didn't want to look back and have to say to herself ..."if I'd only taken more time on that one shot on hole number X, I could have won this thing." (ala I.K. Kim putt right?)

Inbee and her caddy were the only two I saw not acknowledge the walking scorer and standard bearer after finishing regulation.

I can't get enough of Inbee's demeanor, loving it. It's very Jason Dufner-ish to me. She's turned it in to many more wins, but her expressions and body language just makes me think of the Duf.

Bah. That's part of the game. I'm sure every player wishes they had more time to hit every shot. Well, everyone except Charley perhaps. The final group finished at least one hole out of position, and should have been on the clock.

 

Honestly, if it was up to me I'd ditch the whole "on the clock" thing. A player should be timed on every shot, not just when they've fallen out of position.

Can't wait to see whether Terry Gannon will continue to try to jinx Pernilla. It was like watching the Houston Open, where the announcers very clearly did not want Poulter to do well. Every time Pernilla addressed the ball yesterday, Terry seemed to be reminding us that she could hit it poorly. What the heck? I hate it when the announcers play favorites, or at least give the impression they do.
