which one of the so called favorites will miss the cut. You know its going to happen

1. Tiger

2. Phil

3. Bubba

4. DJ

5. Spieth

6. Fowler

7. Casey

8. Sergio

9. Rory

10. Day

Well, the field is only 80 some players, and the low 50 and ties make the cut, plus anyone within 10 of the lead. Long story short, of the thirty or so who don't make the cut, the majority will probably be past champions, and most/all of the ams. You gotta be playing pretty bad to miss this if you're in the top 20 in the world.

Checked out the masters home page. There is obviously a shop somewhere in the premises where you can buy hats and stuff. Nothing strange with that so far, but the thing is, It looks BIG and not in some kind of tent. Looked kind of permanent. Doesnt look like something you easily take away after the masters week. Which means that the CEO's will have that monster thing around until next year's masters week. And I guess they don't buy hats.

First of all, is it within the premises? If so, Why do they want that thing there? The Master's week cannot be a money thing for the club as such when you have Warren, Bill and the guys as members. Money cannot be an issue in whatsoever manner, right?. So someone else must have thrown up that thing for money making. Why do the club let them do that? Or again, is it the club as such that has ordered that shop, and if so, why? Is it just to be kind to Patrons, rising the prestige of the club?

You kind of wonder, to explain why that shop really made me frustrated, and to walk further along this line of thought; What is really The Masters to Mrs Rice, Mr Buffet, mr Gates and the other members? Do they really approve of the Masters, or is it just a burden you will have to take if you become a member? You would expect that the super rich would prefer total privacy. Or maybe they are very seldom there, to actually play or visit the premises?

Ergo : If I was a member I wouldn't want to have that thing around.

Yes, it's a permanent fixture, as was the previous shop. It is not a "tent" like you see at other major championships. It is also not in the middle of the course as you sometimes see at other venues. It's near the main gate and not even visible from the course. (assuming the new shop is in the same place as the old shop that is).

It's not like the general public is coming in to buy souvenirs during the other 51 weeks of the year, so why would it bother you if it was there? Quite honestly, you probably wouldn't even see it if you were a member because you would probably be entering and exiting the course through the clubhouse and wouldn't even be walking down that way.

It's about giving the best experience possible to the fans. Would you rather see some flimsy little temporary tent?

I've never seen someone so offended by a souvenir shop before.

You shed some light on this, it's well out of the way for the members. Still, kind of eerie to have a ghost shop around for most of the year. Must be well hidden. And what you say is that you think that the members actually approves of the Masters and all the people moving around. That's nice. I wouldnt really like it.

When you say "someone so offended", well I am not, but If I was in a position to become a member I should be. Would you like that shop around at your home course? It reminds me of the fancier clothing shops in the malls missus sometimes drags me into.

The concession stands are also permanent fixtures, as is the parking lot and the restrooms. Makes a heck of a lot more sense than building up and tearing down every single year.

I would guess that the Masters is what has drawn most of the members to pursue membership there. So no, I doubt they see what is arguably the best golf tournament in the world as a "burden." My bet is that they are extremely proud of it.

Would I want it at my home course? Why not. Trust me as someone who has been to the Masters ............ there is nothing about that place that is an eye sore.

I would 100% pay $99 Pay-Per-View to watch it live with a candid hot mic.

It's like another major was just born today. How much money will be on the line? 5K/hole?

Just left Augusta. Man what a place! I was posted up just between the 15th green and 16 tee box. Got to see all of the tee shots and skips across the water all day long. Olazabel almost holed his out. What a fun afternoon. Pat Perez’s caddie skipped it across the water to a few feet (inside Perez’s tee shot) and drained the putt. Was so cool to be on the grounds all day.

So the wife and I have been talking about me getting a vasectomy for 6 months or so. Had my consolation appointment a few weeks ago and have mine scheduled for Thursday, first thing in the morning.

Here is to Thursday and Friday binge watching The Masters with no work, no kids and a house all to myself! Well, the frozen veggies/ ice packs will be with me every second, but they don't talk back or try to change the channel.

You were certainly determined to get to watch it. That's for sure...

Over the years I’ve heard many people claim they’d give their Left Grape in order to do/get something, but I’ve never heard of anyone actually following through on it. Well played!

Day on the heels of this caddie/iron switch for sure ?

I hit on a prop bet Bubba missing cut last year. I'm saying DJ will be the victim this year. It pays 5.5/1

They were suppose to do this at napa valley in 2016 and 2017 but obviously Tiger was hurt. Why not at the masters? there will be great video of this for sure with so many people following

Go Poults! Make it two in a row and make WRX spicey again! :D

Remember if you want your side to win the Ryder Cup, you need to root against them at The Masters.

No Masters winner has played on the winning Ryder Cup team since Langer in 1985.

Go Poulter!

If he wears those pants

For 4 days in a row

He just might be around on Sunday ; )
