Ping Blueprint forged irons- New photos added page 27

Recommended Posts

Why in the world would they do another hollow dodie club....that wud make 3 different sets

From the rep: No release date set, but it ain't hollow and matches i500 for forgiveness

it cant, perimeter weighting is forgiveness and if you have none than impossible to match one that does.....pure physics.....

Makes sense its solid forged club with screw for SW.....no different than manufctr using tungsten in toe....and wont be enough to really change anything about club.....I like that, being able to alter swingweight that easily is huge plus

I just got set of PXG tho and they look just like a ping so wont be hitting blueprint (even if dont like PXG) LOL

I’m interested in the iron either way. But honestly. If that new staff iron hits my hands as pictured. I maybe a goner. Lol

Wilson's irons been good for awhile now, their small cb has been anyway....and fg tour 100 was pretty sick club as well

Seems to be the year for small dude....mizuno, srixon, wilson all should have great year

As far as the address position goes wilson has it down, boxy and squat lil heads

I’m a little ping biased but this may be the sexiest irons I have ever seen. I like how they kept the more squared off till like the 210

What in the world happened to your current irons that some of you guys can't wait for a release on an iron you are really interested in? Did you back over them with your truck? Or maybe the dog ate them.

My wife's secret boyfriend had a go with them.

It's one thing to use my wife, but I can't handle another man swinging my sticks

The OEMs have capitalized on our addiction to shiny objects. I want a set of those too, but am smart enough to know I can't hit them.......well maybe the 8i thru the wedges.....hmmmmmmm.

I don’t think these will be any harder to hit then the iblades. If you can hit those, you will be able to hit these too.

I'm bagging my old Eye 2s again. My cheap-azz won't spring for new stuff, but I do appreciate your encouragement. ?

Love the old Eye 2 irons, if it’s not broke don’t fix it. Easier said then done when these blue print irons are staring at you...

I am a sucker for new clubs staring at me. They do actually have eyes, right?

I find it an odd business idea to release in the summer/fall. I would have to guess many serious golfers(which is who would likely buy these) would not be apt to change equipment in the middle of the season. I know for myself if I don't buy in the winter or early spring I don't buy. I do not want to be testing stuff and figuring out yardages in mid season at all. It's the major reason I cancelled my order for the Apex MBs when they told me it would be June by the time my set would be complete.

Agreed! I like to have my bag solidified by early spring. All of my tinkering is done in the winter months.

Maybe Ping throws us a curve ball and releases these in the spring. Wishful thinking....

I am praying they release these in spring but don’t see that happening. I need new irons by spring and these are on top of list but, fall release puts them at the bottom. Damn you Ping!

I think you can wait a measly 2-3 extra months for a new set of irons. Play what you have...there's worse things in the world to worry about...
