A lot of people were feeling really good about Rory at Augusta before today. Hard not to pick him now.

The driver (accuracy) is the key to him winning at Augusta, Sergio and Bubba are proof you don't need to be a great putter to win there. Too much is made of Rory's putting when his driver is by far his most important club.

True. Though even if he has his B game, he can win.

One thing that stood out to me as I watched Rory walk off the 18th green we're all the fans who were holding their hands out to shake. Rory snubbed about 98% of them.

He might have been tired, emotionally drained.

Lot of pressure from a lot of people.

I was thinking he had to sign his score card. And maybe he does not like Floridians?

So Rory's caddie gets to keep the bag , free Buffett and gets a $20 bill?

Don't forget all-you-can-eat breadsticks.

No that's just for the players. Sorry

I don't blame him. Why do fans expect high fives?

They just spent $500 ...

Rory looks ready for a little run over the coming months.

Good win.

This I don't see. Golf is hard, and there are a lot of good players at the moment. I imagine he is drained from this.

We'll see if he can keep this up in the next few weeks.

Saw him actually touch a few hands during the round. Had his ball in his left hand after 18, needed to sign his card, touched a palm or two later in the walk. No big deal - Furyk didn’t slap ‘em all either - kill him!

McIlroy is the guy you’ll see once in awhile during a tournament reach out to a kid or two more often than just about anyone else.

Dang Jordan has more wins than Sergio. That’s so laughable

Jordan should just start and end every press conference with

Ask Sergio how many wins I have. Mic Drop

And Justin Rose should be asked every single time

Justin, do you feel bad such a young player has more wins than you? Not to mention 2 more majors than you, not to mention won your countries largest tournament, while you never have?

Are you crying Justin?

agreed. Can’t please everyone. He can stay around and sign autographs for a half hour after his round and there will still be people left disappointed.

Lost a little respect for bones caddying ability today.

He Questioned Rory hitting driver on 16. Who then proceeded to hit it 345 which gave him a short iron into the green.

Bones then questioned the yardage Rory got from his caddie on 17 implying he gave Rory too much club. Rory barley got it to the green and a fair amount of players came up short down the stretch.
