Longest 3 Hybrid?

818H2 in the 19* head I tested was pretty danm long. Super penetrating flight as well. Worth a look especially since they are discounted now.

Something by TEE (CB4 19* has been the longest hybrid I've ever hit). Second would be something from the Adams Super LS/LSP line. Too funny to see people saying a 17* 2 hybrid is their choice for a 'long 3 hybrid'...

The longest 3h (19/20 degree) I've used to date is the XR Pro.

It’s the G 410 for sure. The one I have is lasered 21 degrees and marked as a 4 hybrid. It goes longer off the deck than a perfectly struck 3 iron off a tee.

I never understood these longest hybrid or fairway threads. A hybrid or fairway wood should be selected for fitting a gap.

Cliffhanger doth speak the truth. TM M6 3 hybrid—-a beast. Love my Ping G400 4 and 5 hybrids for consistency and good length. The M6 is a cut above for distance.

I bought the f8 21 degree. Just so easy to launch. First hybrid I've really hit well. Saw a good deal on a 818 h1 that I mostly use off the tee. Much prefer to sound feel of the Cobra though. Currently bidding on the 17 and 19 lofts on eBay.

Depends on what you use it for. 99% of shots with a fairway or hybrid are off the tee for me. By design they will be shorter than the next club given length and loft difference, so I'm not looking for a relaive 'gap' to be a sure fire number, you can always manipulate the club to a certain extent to vary distances.

G410, just put it in the bag today and hit some crazy good shots. Mostly a tee club for me when driver is to much. More confident with it then the 3 wood.

For me it's the retail TM Jetspeed 3H. It's just stupid hot. Availabe for next to nothing these days. The Jetspeed line got caught up in the crazy old TM release cycle but they are really solid albeit over looked clubs. As with all clubs YMMV.

I had given up on hybrids.

All of them were hook monsters.

Finally decided to try some of the better ones.

This was the ugliest\ cheapest one, and also hit the best.

Effortless 200 yards for me, and my Son can get 235+ out of it.

I hit a nice cut with it after adjusting the hosel.

Mizuno CLK. I'd recommend changing a 3 wood for the 16 version too. Sooooo long off the tee.

Isn't a hybrid meant to go a specific distance to fill a gap in one's long clubs?! not sure why you'd want one that goes the longest but to each their own... its probably the callaway, those always seem to have hot faces, never know how far it will go off the face of a callaway!

THANK YOU, I figured I'd get flamed for saying this but right now I have two that are perfect distance wise. I have them because they are easy to hit out of just about anything and dispersion is amazing. One replaces my long iron and the other is more controllable than a 5 wood. One is a 17* and the other a 20*. If I get anymore length out of the 17 it means I'd need a longer 3 wood. Once I get my numbers good between clubs the only place I look for getting more distance is the driver and lets face facts, that's about maxed these days.

Yeah I have the same setup in my long irons right now..... back issues have forced me into hybrid's and sometimes a 5-Wood which I never thought I would play......... and I really don't care about getting flamed on here. I'll tell people how it is.... some people's posts on here are dumb and I won't hesitate to say so..... sue me.. :)

Here's my argument for a 3 hybrid that goes as far as possible... I'm a typical WRXer, I carry my driver 280+, my 3w 260ish... I hit my five iron 200 yards... I have a 60 yard gap and want something that will go 240 yards. That's going to require a hybrid that has some pep in it's step... Personally, I play an Adams Idea 18 degree (not a 3h, but whatever) and it fills this niche nicely. It goes 240 usually... regardless of how long it is, it's not catching my 3 wood.
