Look like a regular driving iron from address and every other angle. What’s wrong?

 

Definitely a big improvement on the not so aesthetic t-mb series

Agreed, the removal of the back bumper as compared to the both generations of the T-MB is a solid move.

Totally agree. Don’t know what’s going on in the hosel transition but I don’t like it! Just an odd face shape. I wouldn’t like aiming that thing

I thiiiiiiink it's just the angle that they held the shaft relative to the lens. My 818h2 stills pretty square in the stock position. Even when I turned the loft up a little bit, it doesn't seem to sit shut. Hoping that's the case here... also hoping the TS3 gives some more ball speed and maybe adds a little forgiveness.

aside - i put my 718 TMB 2i into play for the first time yesterday in my practice round...it's deep. lol

Titleist irons just don't seem nearly as forgiving to me as many of the other options out there.

How's forgiveness compared to the p790 2i?

haven't noticed a bit of a difference between the two to be honest - hit cuts and draws with it and had no issues getting it off the turf on a par 5.

I think so too. I love my 818h2. Great shape and sits very square to open. I don't know that I need more ball speed in this club. It goes pretty far as is. I thought the TS3 looked bulbous to me compared to the 818. I'm hoping it's just the angle and the size that's making it look that way.

The U510 looks like it's got some Thicc to it. a little crossover like with how wide the sole is. the U500 makes me feel funny inside. I've played a 712U 3 iron for years and love, never found the TMBs to be much good at all. the TS2 hybrid looks like the perfect shape/ offset/ face angle combo. Dreamy!

Pretty soft feeling, too? I don't know why but I just can't give up the driving iron quest. I've also tried an Apex UT in 18* with a DI shaft and it was meh.

Yeah the shape in these pictures does look kind of weird. Maybe it's just odd angles + reflections or something. I like the deep black look better than the grey-ish 818.

I’ve heard from sources that the AP1’s will be fully hollow, but I’ve also heard that the AP2’s and AP3’a will not be classic Titleist so who knows all things are possible at this point.

You cant see them yet??....the only ones you can see look to be the u500 irons. My guess would also be the 720 ap2s

That TS2 is mouthwatering. I knew they were going to return the hybrids to the classic 910/913 color after the TS woods dropped. The driving iron looks phenomenal too. Titleist is having an amazing year.

My 818H2 did pretty good on my recent trip to Texas. Going to be hard I think to take it out of the bag....only time will tell. My OCD wants to have matching hybrid to woods.......

Hybrids look great. They remind me of the 913 series, which was very underrated.
