Zoom in and look at the hosel, says chromoly for the 921F, that seems odd, boron must be out, and guessing the 921T will be the only 1025E.

Sounds like a HM Pro but forged, so better feeling. Curious if they bring that to the Tours or keep them the same for the 3rd straight release.

Will the Tours have the same satin finish as the 919T or something different? I got fit for the 919T but waited too long to pull the trigger. Now I’m waiting to see what the 921T looks like. I may be looking to snipe a new set of 919T off eBay and reshaft them if the 921’s don’t appeal. I just loved everything about the 919T. From looks @ address to feel to performance.

I would get another opinion. I'm 6'7" and have always been fit at +1/2" and improved my swing over the last two years greatly and got fit at +1" for irons and the fitters all said they'd never fit anyone over 1" ever. I have a few 6'5" friends who play and they've all been fit every time at +3/4". +1 & 3/4" is insane!

921 Forged HD Chromaly

Depends on a few things why they are saying so long. Such as physical limitations or arm length. I am 6’7 and my first instructor fitted me to +2” because he used Henry Griffith’s system so super long with flat lies. Went to Cool Clubs and dee years ago and they said +1” which has helped my game because at +2” my sw was e9! We even tried +2” during the fitting and the shorter length was more consistent for me.

This. Same issue here. I've been fit multiple places including the TM Kingdom, Ping and Club Champion. All have said they never fit anyone into anything over 1" long and rarely go over +1/2".

Makes total sense on the JPX 921 Forged if they did indeed combine the Forged and the HM Pro into one iron. If they gave the HMP the offset and blade length of the Forged, that's a winner. While I hit it a little further with the HMP, I'm not sure why anyone would have chosen the HMP over the Forged.

Looking forward to seeing the full line-up. Any ideas on stock/available shafts yet? Really wish Mizuno did like Titleist and put the AMT White, Black and Red in their offer. Very smart by Titleist, there's a shaft for everyone in there and simplifies the purchasing process for the average consumer.

On paper, the HMP was more forgiving and cheaper. To me, I didn't feel much of a difference between the HMP and the forged (though I was hitting indoors for what it's worth). For people with a similar experience, the HMP was the winner. Even more so for those who prefer a slightly larger head.

I'm curious if there will be a 921 HMP.

I think most people would disagree. For a cast club, chromoly Feels pretty good! Now with the club being a softer grade chromoly than the 919 HM models and forged, I’m highly doubting the 921F will be a bad feeling iron.

Mizuno arguably has the best and most expansive custom options available at no upcharge, I am sure you could easily find something comparable.

That will make people question if there will be a 2021 release of the HMP. Similar to the 2019 delayed release of the HMP.
