Tiger of 2000, I agree. But this isn't the Tiger of old who is obliterates par 5's and the field with his distance and power. He now rely's on his experience, and precision, and HT probably fits his game now more than ever.

I don't think the greens themselves are punishing enough for the "local knowledge" or experience to play a role (though they are smallish targets as a whole). At Augusta, Tiger can play to certain spots and hit to certain locations on the greens and knows what locations and when to attack certain holes and when and where to be safe. I don't think that is the case at HT. Not sure if that is the case anywhere else they play other than ANGC. He gets more out of his accuracy there than anywhere else.

Then again, he's not showing up. Hasn't in the past either. I would guess that it doesn't suit him. He's always been careful about the tournaments he plays.

I think the whole south is chilly right now. I’m south of Atlanta and it’s definitely weird for a summer day.

Yep looking on the weather channel a few minutes ago there is a cold front way south of you in Buffalo but the cold side is going right through where he is at in Central NC we are sorta in the mix of it that is why we have been getting those pop up storms the last 3 days

Don't fret the weather. On the backside of the front is absolutely beautiful weather. We have had highs in the mid 70's to low 80's and very low humidity the last 4 days. Low humidity this time of year is very rare.

We used to go to HHI just about this week, and highs in the 90s, with matching humidity, was pretty common. If you get away from the water, it was pretty uncomfortable.

I just read about a 22 year old who Monday qualified for the Honda Classic with like a 66. Asked him did he do anything while he waited on the finish, as he had a morning round. Said he went to chick Fila. He waited at chick fila! Lol, 22!

and then im like “bet he got cut in the classic”

Really excited for this tournament. As Andy from The Shotgun Start pointed out, usually this tournament 1) doesn't draw a great field since its the week after The Masters 2) the top guys that do show up are burned out from just playing a major and 3) the weather is often cool/wet. This year you have basically everyone but Tiger in the field, all of whom are fresh and ready to go and the weather should be great, mostly sunny, high's in the mid-80's.
