I feel like Hyundai / Kia maybe could compare to like Tour Edge?

Wasn't Tour Edge a little less respected several years back? Now some of their stuff is highly regarded vs the big companies

I don't know if anyone has made this comparison yet , but i feel like Callaway is more like BMW.....that seems weird for whatever reason but hear me out

BMW is an iconic brand, but for a good 5-10 year period it did seem like they lost their edge a bit (remember the original Idrive which everyone hated, the 5 series redesign that people really didn't like). I feel like around the same time Audi became the "cooler" brand after Mercedes, and BMW lost a bit of luster. However they have regained that space

Callaway, kinda similar. Iconic brand for many years. Went through a bad period with terrible naming (remember when everything was the devil?) and some weird looking heads. GI clubs that were unplayably ugly. Say what you want about when they hired Harry, but they turned that company back around and they are arguably "cool" again and right up there in sales.

with that said. I’m gonna go for Mizuno/Porsche.

Both: classic Design (MP = 911) Cult following. Has a distinct “feel”. Almost praised and worshipped by those who own them. And once you get one you seem to stick with owning them forever.

This thread doesn't sound bias toward specific brands at all. You lost me at TM = BMW... lol... good one. By that if you mean overpriced and always in the shop for a ridiculous repair.

Srixon - The 63 Chevelle with the nice paint job, stock wheels and tires that smoked my cammed up bad a** 68 Cougar Eleminator.

And just like that Chevelle, the nitrous bottle is hidden under the hood on the Srixon and a lot of people will never ask to look.

Wilson Staff would be Cadillac to me.  From the 50s thru the 70s, they were the best America had to offer.  Then, for more than two decades, no one under 60 would even look at them.  Now, they are both coming back with great products.

Ping is Chrysler Fiat - poor quality but a strong cult following none the less.

Callaway is Ford plain and simple.

Taylormade is General Motors Chevrolet plain and simple.

Cobra is Toyota - a different offering but a solid choice.

PXG is Land Rover. Quality with varying price ranges. Cheaper models to get you into the brand but the “good stuff” is priced ridiculously higher so that the average person can’t afford it. Then owning it becomes a status symbol even though there are several comparable things from other brands at 1/3-1/2 the price.

TM has to be BMW, right?  Whenever I see the M drivers I immediately think of a BMW M-series.  How is this not unanimous?

 

Titleist is Mercedes.  “The best or nothing”. This is Titleist in a nut shell, particularly the Pro V1
