Oh interesting, if only the driver heads weren't so light. May look at picking up a TS3 fairway though.

I don't see the closed face issue with mine, my 917 looks quite open though I have it lofted down, and my driver is wide open. I would probably still want to see the club in person before buying to be sure though.

It might be time to upgrade the 915H if the TS hybrids drop.

But my point is this isn't unique to golf.  New products are coming out all of the time across all industries with promises of bigger, better, faster, etc.

With golf equipment, you have the opportunity to get fit and find something that optimizes your game so that you aren't chasing fractional increases year after year

What a terrible thing to say in a forum such as this....for shame. ?

TSR3 10*/AD-DI 6x
TSR2 15*/AD-DI 7x
TS2 19*/AD-IZ 85x

I know I may get pounced on here but am I the only one who thinks that Titleist fairway woods appear to be closed :  I know that tons of great tour presence and likewise here From our members but for me ( maybe my eye ) I just see hook when I look down:  despite that I still keep buying and trying them.   I usually purchase the 16.5 head loft down ; flatten and still disappoint myself .  Feel like I Should use my old high school break up line “ it’s not you , it’s me”

Hybrids $229

Is this confirmed? I demo'd a TS2 today and it was fantastic. If it's really going to drop $50 tomorrow I'm going to go get it.

Hybrids are not getting released per my sources. They just did hybrids last year they normally and they are pretty traditional on their releases will do those with irons, summer of 2021. This is just a replacement of TS2/TS3. Not even a TS1 replacement. That's what I've been told at least.

who are your sources?

This makes sense, as this has always been standard strategy for Titleist.

edit- sorry missed the original quote. This comment is in response to the hybrids not being immediately released.

It’s not about having the latest model. It’s about investing in clubs that aren’t going to be outdated in 6 months by “new technology”.

"New technology" or "new marketing"?

Talked to my local rep yesterday. TSi2 and TSi3 are currently being seeded on tour.  The consumer fittings are scheduled to begin October 15th.   A different weighting system on driver and fairway metals as well as a new Titanium face.  Excited to see them in person

This has me very curious

Called FedEx yesterday. They lost the brand new (full priced) hybrid I bought.

Now contemplating just waiting to see if a new one comes out in a month or released on the 2 year cycle at Summer 21’.

Hybrids are typically with the iron release.  So most likely next summer.

I have a ton of respect for Titleist. However, over the years my loyalty to the brand has diminished. I'm exhausted because of the more regular equipment refreshes a al Taylormade. I expect the minimal tweaks annually from TM but not from Titleist. The industry is hurting, so I understand that this strategy is a way to spur sales. Though the diehards will keep on buying.

The TS series was released in 2018. Club sales numbers have been at all time highs the last few months.

Golf club sales are at record highs at the moment.
