So obviously there is the Sim 2.0 thread that is going and going and going....

 

What I want to know is are we looking at a new TP5 and TP5X? Not sure how they can get this ball to be better but seems like this would be the cycle. 
 

Also, wedges? I have really fallen for the hi toes over the last year and a half. It’s time for them to be replaced, what’s coming? I’m thinking something new with the very limited lofts to be custom ordered.

Can't speak to the wedges but the TM balls are on sale at every retailer which tells me a new ball will be out soon.  Probably right around the TOC is my guess.

For those that seem to know about wedges, are the MG2s being replaced or just the Hi Toe? Was thinking about getting some MG2s soon, but I might wait if a new model is coming out.

TaylorMade does offer full raw in both Hi-Toe and MG on their custom shop site. 
 

I’ve been a Hi-Toe guy last couple seasons but in the market for some fresh ones. Excited to see what’s coming.

My golf ball wishlist wants to see the TP5x return to something that's closer to the 2017-18 model. The current TP5x just doesn't spin enough. I'm optimistic that we'll see something along those lines because nearly all of their tour staff switched to the TP5. Something closer to the long game performance of the 2017-18 TP5x with a little more spin around the greens and slightly softer feel would be perfect.

They do not color their inserts well.

You're right that the price is higher, but if you upgrade to something like a Tour Issue S400 and an Golf Pride MCC grip, they're included with no additional upcharge. So for those of us who like a different shaft/grip, it's not actually a bad deal after factoring in the component costs.

Agreed, if they had a ball that was right in the middle of the TP5 and TP5x in terms of spin it would be incredible. TP5x is just a tad light on the greenside spin when you get on concrete running over 11.5 and TP5 spins too much off the irons.

See but to me that’s what the tp5 is for. The guy wanting more spin.  The current tp5x to me is equal to left dash v1x.  That unicorn ball that us high spin drivers have wanted for years.  It spins  enough off a wedge but less off driver.     Not like say the AVX which spins low off driver and none off a wedge.  
 

but you’re probably right.  With everyone going to a positive  Aoa  with driver , the high spin bullet fade guy is a dinosaur waiting to die.

Right.  But on the flip side if you’re like me and consider the kbs the upgrade over the old standby / standard DG s400 then it seems like you’re just paying more for no chrome.  I’d also prefer to see a raw wedge on the rack.  But I know the reason why no raw on the rack.  It makes some folks eyes rain to see a spec of rust.  Lol.

All hybrid type iron set similar to the Cleveland line possibly 🤷‍♂️ Not that the vast majority on here care, but the MAX OS is off the custom list, although the MAX is still there.
