Going to get a Speed w/ Graphite Design shaft most likely. Too good of a deal not to give it a try.

Takes alot to get me excited, Callaway did it with the new Speed Driver. 

It's going to be very interesting for me to see which head good, fast players that care about what their driver looks and sounds like gravitate toward.

Also curious to see how the Max will do, simply because I'm having such a blast with it with the weight fully in the toe.  Yes, at address it looks like it needs to go keto but it's just so easy to get results from and it's as nasty long and consistent as the other two.

Hit Max LS and Speed today. Spin and launch were close for me but the LS was just more forgiving and had tighter dispersion. Not a high speed player but launching at 13-14 degrees at 2000-2100 spin. Similiar numbers to my Mavrick, but the LS was tighter in distance front to back and side to side. Misses with LS were very manageable.

I found the spin to be similar too. Callaway certainly has brought the spin level up on the LS from the Mavrik SZ. It seems to me that Callaway and Ping are giving us distance competitive drivers with a very friendly spin profile. And that works well for my game.

So how does a guy get his hands on one of those Speed LSs? I’m a TM guy so I’m not familiar with how Callaway does these things.

They’re tour issue but some fitters get access to them in super limited numbers.

Can check with my inside source tomorrow but most limited releases they leave out lefties so that’s the hunch. I do wish they would release it in lefty so I could buy it

Akshay was using the 3D Speed. I don't think it will be a Speed LS model though

Yeah pros have access to whatever they want or need. Especially since they already make different versions for Phil. But one of those coming to retail or getting your hands on a lefty version is much much harder than RH

Any word on availability of slider weights to adjust the weight on Epic Max and LS? Will Flash weights fit?

Asked my rep about weight kits, said nothing shows up. TXG mentioned they had one. Hopefully see some soon.

I asked the same question but in the other Epic thread. Seems not... but I hope Callaway fulfills my custom order. Otherwise, I'll try and call Callaway customer service. But not doing anything until the driver gets here.

Epic Flash weight do not fit the Max LS/Max drivers. My local club says weights will be available mid-March.

I'm wondering what the differences are between the different triple diamond models. there's a regular TD, a TD DS, and a TD LS, plus there's apparently an Epic Speed on the conforming list that doesn't have a forward weight, and is missing several markings like the AI Speed Frame? the Mavrik only had 1 TD model, and there were other single diamond models.

Looks like Speed LS TD is the preferred model; Xander, Strick and Rahm are playing that head I believe
