FYI For everyone with the new releases coming out:

 

Stealth = A Screw (same as last year)

Rogue ST = B Screw (same as last year)

Mizuno ST 2022 = B Screw (same as last year)

Cobra LTDx = C Screw (varying results last years models, but C screw for sure this year) 

 

None of the cogs have changed either

Ball speeds are whatever you swing at... not gonna see a crazy difference. What you will see though is how good the mishits are now. Ball speed will drop a little bit off center, but spin stays low. Its really fun to hit.

Does anybody have the equivalent sizes and a source for individual screws (Fastenal for example).

 

I asked Crystal (at all-fit) and she said they are “custom made”.  I assume she meant her numbering/letter system…surely they are a standard metric machine or set screw?  Regardless, I’m not paying $25 to ship 5 or 6 screws.  🙄

 

I have multiple heads that use the same collar, and want a screw for each head vs. moving the one screw around.

I just purchased a sim 2ti fairway wood but also use a g410 3 wood..does anyone use the allfit adapter in fairway woods? does it increase length of the club relative to the stock adapter?

no the cogs work just the same, and dont add anything compared to the normal adjustable adapters.

Can you just use the original screw that came with the driver head?

They are, generally, a different diameter than the all fit adaptor accepts.

Only for Taylormade head, yes. All other heads,no. Use specified screws

I was so bummed when I went to switch my Stealth + shaft only to notice the stock (b) screw didn’t fit. Came to this thread…bam! OEM screw works perfectly. Lucked out 

 

if I wanted to purchase additional A or C screws, where would I do that? I probably have 5-8 stock B screws from all the adapters I purchased

I may do a bulk purchase next month since i am down to 3 adapters. If you like, I can add it to my order & we can sort it out. PM if u r keen. Can't believe how many adapters I have gone through since this thread started. So far, I've only "busted" one adapter, don't ask me how but it's bent...

I have probably 20 adapters, no adapter failure per say, but I do have one that the threads are stripped on.  I have some more adapters on the way, because I am a shaft ho and 3 wood ho.

I was not so much a putting ho as I was a putting connoisseur.  I have purchased piles of 3 woods, and now I have turned my attention to shafts.

 

Putters I had a few that rotated in and out, but that constant circle of no friendship with those putters led me down the rabbit hole.

 

Now I have a rabbit's foot, and I will be staying with the MEZZ for the full year giving it a full run. 

 

To be honest I think I may have licked my 3 wood issue too.  I have never felt this way about a three wood.  I have been close, but never fully there.  I have the ring, and my three wood has already moved in with me.  Not sure on how I will pop the question or when, more of a do it when the time is right type of thing.

Yeah, 3 woods are a MONGREL to find. Once you find it, it's a keeper. Mine is bonded, never thought I would end up with a Honma. Never. But hey...

Now, has anyone tried the All-Fit Universal Putter adapter?

 

Contemplating it myself but not sure how it will work with our LAB putters (Mezz & DF)

Are you talking about the All-Fit master?   You would have to bore out the heads of both, possibly bevel the bottom the the adapter.  I know titanium is light but I would guess it would mess with the balance some.  Of course I pulled the shaft out of mine and installed a BGT and there are very little issues with it as far as balance.

Anyone have long term reviews on these? I asked a shop here to install these on my favorite GD driver shaft since I have 3 different heads that I like to play depending on how I'm playing for the day.... The shop stated that these adaptors don't last and will easily crack. Any truth to this?

I’ve been using them for about 4 years now from version 1 to 3. I have roughly 200 of them in our fitting system. Never had one crack.

What torque wrench are you guys using? ......I finally got around to trying another adapter after the thread backed out of the last adapter and the same damn thing happened.  PXG gen 2...originally used the B screw, was told I used a screw that was too long, so I used an A screw this time and the same thing happened🤔 I'm wondering if the PXG wrench is set at higher rating and over tightening?

torque is not a big issue. more important is you need to starting the thread smoothly, sometime we just mindlessly to lock them, and it get stucked. it will be damaged eventually. 

and FYI, pxg is actually higher torque than most else OEMs. pxg is 45lbs, else wrench is 40lbs.
