Water bottle for golf bag ?

Hi guys , any suggestion for something that keeps water cold and is practical ? Should I go with a squeeze or hard bottle ?

Swell bottles are great. Keeps drinks cold for ages. If you're obsessive about keeping your kit as light as possible then maybe not for you. But it's easily the best water bottle I've ever used. Comes in multiple sizes.

I have two 21oz HydroFlasks and they fit perfectly in the two water bottle slots on my Titleist Players 4 Plus. Make sure you check how but the water bottle slots are if you’re going to use them. Anything bigger than the 21oz size I have would be a too big for my bag.

I carry the 21 oz Hydroflask. Usually one but two bottles when it's really hot.

Another vote for the Hydroflask. I like the wide mouth for dumping ice cubes in from the fridge door.

I carry with a Gatorade squeeze bottle mostly because of the weight issue.  I also like that I don't have to open the top to squeeze and drink.  I fill it with ice and add water and it stays cold for me. 

If using my pushcart or cart I sometimes bring my hydroflask, but still miss the one hand operation of the Gatorade bottle.

I have the Thermoflask ones from Costco. Really nice and they go on sale frequently so you can get 2 for like $16.

Hydroflask or Yeti Rambler. However, I believe the knock off Walmart brand works just as well.

+1 for Hydroflask.  I use the 24oz version, but with Covid and no water coolers on the course I picked up a Yeti Rambler (half-gallon) and put in the back of the cart. Both options keep the contents cold the entire round.

The only potential issue with the knock off brands is having to deal with the condensation.  With the better brands like Hydroflask/Yeti this isn't a problem.

Yeti is the gold standard. I'd say that HydroFlask and RTIC are both good alternatives. RTIC wins due to price. Keep in mind that all of those are double walled, so they are heavy. If you walk, it might not work well. I have all three brands listed above, and yet I still end up taking my 32oz Nalgene quite a bit because of the size and weight. If I know it's gonna be a scorcher, I definitely go with a double wall though.

I have a couple of Klean Kanteen ones, different sizes, lids, insulated ones etc. All metal, last forever, no crappy plastics, simple design, looks boss.

I use a Yeti rambler that I refrigerate overnight to help keep the ice from melting on hot days.

I have used this under armor bottle for years and it is great. Keeps ice for two days. Its made by thermos. If you have a UA outlet near you they can be had for cheap.

As others have said, 21oz Hydroflask is perfect. Fits well in to a carry bag, or if you take a cart it fits in to the cup holders perfectly.

I keep a 40oz HydroFlask in my bag and usually have a 32oz Yeti Rambler in/on the cart. 

 

I like my water ice cold and I tend to sweat a lot so go through a lot of fluids when playing.

I used to use a 21 ounce Hydroflask. But then COVID and courses don’t put out water anymore. 
 

Last summer I went with a 64 oz. off brand thermos/water bottle. It has to go inside one of the front pocket of my golf bag, I use a push cart, but it works great. No matter how hot last year, I never ran out of water.

I have the 32 oz hydroflask with a Titleist Players 4 bag, waterproof edition - I actually keep my hydroflask in the main ball pocket as it won't fit in the others.  Something like a hydroflask is smaller than a yeti form-wise but still is double layered so you should get through the round with ice no problem.

I use a camelbak insulated water bottle - also used for cycling.   It fits easy in my bag pocket if I carry, the bottle holder in a cart or my pushcart.  I like that it's light and easy to squeeze instead of having to screw off a top.  If it's hot, I fill it with ice and then water and it will stay cold for a while.

My vote goes to Hydroflask. I have 2 21oz, 4 24oz, 4 40oz, and 2 64 oz. I usually carry the two 24 oz ones. In the summer I'll add a 40 oz back up.

 

I also have two 40 oz bottles from Costco and two 50 oz bottles I recently bought at TJMaxx.

Don’t believe the hype. Nearly any quality double walled vacuum sealed bottles are going to preform well with proper ice. So many buy into the brand name hype. 
 

Get the proper top and size for what you need.

Definitely go with something that is Double Wall Vacuum Sealed like what most people are saying in this group... Brands and style is mainly up to you and what the bag can hold. Keep in mind with Volume that with COVID, most courses won't have water refill stations/huts anymore.

I have a Yeti and a Hydroflask. The Hydroflask keeps ice longer than the Yeti.
