What does being CEO have to do with the fact you said that? Actually I suppose its' quite worrying that being a CEO you can forget so quickly what you typed and denied it

Maybe I'm cold-hearted (I'm not), but I struggle to categorize anything going on here as "sad". What would be nice though, is if this was looked at as a learning opportunity which instructs us to not sweat the small stuff, or overblow situations, but I suppose there is too much pride involved for that message to take hold.

Ive literally worked in golf courses all of my life, and he tried to argue course conditions and the affects of cultural practices referencing grain on the PGA Tour with me mind you, I have first hand experience hosting a US Open and multiple PGA Tour Invitationals AND even offered scientific articles published in various turf magazines that were the result of years of study from Purdue, Penn State, Michigan State, UGA, A&M, etc. I was still wrong because he was/is on the board at one of the clubs he's a member of so welcome to the GolfWRX the land where those that know are shunned for those that think they know and yell the loudest.

gary player has always been a little slimy.  And to me that’s ok . People have different circumstances that dictate what they have to do to get ahead.  But he also became addicted to himself at some point along the line.  No shocker that we see that  his fruit is a little bit off , or odd.   Probably desperate for pops approval , and either did this on his own or at Gary’s direction.  
 

at any rate.  Was just the last straw for sure.  This guy has been mentioned in many Augusta gossip sessions .  Where there’s that much smoke.  Fire is pretty much a given.  He simply used up all his tokens.  Imagine what he’s done that they didn’t make public.  There’s no telling.
