Which SMALL Company Makes the Best Wedges?

I find the Sub70 JB raw wedges to be perfection, grind and everything.

Miura wedges are the bomb.  I've owned two sets so far and I still have a brand new set waiting for next year.

A year in with wedges from Joe Kwok.  Very high quality, solid and soft forgings.  Plus the grinds and shafts were custom to my preferences.  Couldn’t be happier I made the investment with a master club fitter.

Fourteen RM-4. Not as many options as RH, but they have a few.

I lucked upon this Proto Concept forged wedge for $25 (head only) and love it.  So soft and loads of spin for a 46* loft.

Real partial to my scratch wedges. Going to play them until they completely wear out since I haven't found a shape I've liked better and on top of that, their new iteration (brand) is a lot more expensive so it's a motivator.

I have a 44, 48, and 53 in excellent shape.  Somehow lost the 57 and 61

They are the GOAT without question!  Best shape ever, soft as any Japanese forging, and the V-sole is so so good

If Mizuno counts, they have continued to push towards excellence with the T24 lineup.

I question to ask is who has the highest quality forgings.  I alternate between Joe Kwok and Miura made Japanese Cleveland 588 (the best of Roger Cleveland’s designs IMO).  Both very high quality forgings.  
 

Joe is a good source to understand how the Chinese foundries today produce various levels of forged quality and there’s a huge range from poor quality to high in the market.  My last set of Fourteen felt harsh in comparison to older models and what I currently play.

For me, it’s National custom works by a mile. All the others make great products, but in my experience the function, feel and look of the NCW wedges are top notch.

More Golf (Bruce Sizemore) has some innovative, modular wedges.  They’re unconventional looking, but high tech & performing from what I’ve been told.

Right!!  I'm in the market for a 60* but really need to replace all of them, so many options...

Edit: Found the New Level Tri-Weight 60* on closeout for $75+Plus shipping.  Getting it with my +1 length and 2* upright with a midsize grip saves me so much money over buying off the rack.  Never heard of New Level until reading through this thread and figured at that price along with customizing, I can give it a shot.

I have Cleveland RTX 588 (Rotex 2.0) wedges that I was fit for and purchased in Tokyo in 2014.

 

They have a black finish.

 

I've always wondered if they are forged. The stickers say 'Made in Japan' and they were purchased at an authorized retailer/fitter in Tokyo. 

 

But I don't see any stampings that indicate 'Forged' like I do on my Titleist VG3 irons.

I was one of the testers way back when they did it on here. Overall I liked the wedge! I ended up passing along to one of my buddies and I've failed to get it back. It was a gap wedge which for me is usually from the iron set I'm playing, so confidence wasn't the highest. On well struck shots it was great.
