Do you have a set of the ST's...what shaft do you have?

The ST's are GORGEOUS from the pictures.

 

I will hopefully head to Shaughnessy here in the spring...they have a PXG fitting studio....hit some clubs in the sim...and then take the short-list clubs to the range to see how the heads interact with grass....and to see the REAL ball flight.

 

Maybe a combo set of DC's & ST's.

The 0211's are really a steal at their current prices...who knows who long that will last....but PXG is known for dynamic pricing.

Considering the reduction of the number of equipment deals over the past few years on all tours, why are people assuming Lydia is going to have an equipment deal?

I think the equipment deals are still there but it’s only the big names getting the big bucks. Everyone else taking less

Elevate tours. Don’t think the lofts match up to combo plus the are crazy easy to hit for a blade. Sorry to derail but I liked that Lydia was on pxg. Hate everyone else on there ha

1) With a global shortage on components...not much choice for stock shafts w/o paying for an up charge....but they also have shortages on up charge options too.

I've demo'd the Elevate Tours....I don't mind them....I currently play the KBS Tour 120 gm stiffs....I'm finding them just a tad stout in my old age....but finding some other lighter shafts a tad soft.

A guy at the range the other day let me hit a Recoil 110 F4....it was sweet....tons of shock absorption and quite a stable shaft.

 

2) Yes....would need some huge loft adjustments to transition a combo set from the ST's to DC's.....and yes....I've read many many golfers say how easy the ST's are to hit for a blade....I'll have to see for myself.

 

3) Agree....I lot of pros I don't like in the PXG tour stable.

I don't like Zach, Top 5, Dahmen, Christina Kim, Gary Player.

I see that PXG just dumped POSER Pat Perez.

 

I do like Lang, Boutier, O'Toole, Piller, J. Song, Khang.

I noticed Haley Moore is not longer on staff.

Because Tina LOVES money and agents get paid on endorsements....so I don't see Lydia being a equipment free agent for a long time.

 

Agree....fewer good endorsements on all tours and/or it's taking longer for many pros to sign up for an attractive deal.

So her agent is going to have to do like most of the agents that have members of the LPGA have to do, work hard to find sponsors outside of the equipment area. The free spending of equipment manufacturers is over so I would not automatically expect her to have an equipment deal.

I'm not disagreeing that OEM's are more prudent in their sponsorship spends.

 

Nothing is certain....it make take some time...but I expect Lydia to sign a OEM club deal(s) at some point in time....maybe not immediately.

Who knows whether it will be lucrative or not.

I’ve heard most end up with Titleist due mostly to the fact they like the ball and equipment and they have great pro service not necessarily them throwing money at everyone. Yes the big names get cash but for some it’s the convenience until another company gives them the money and there gone
