Replacement for Ping G425 hybrid

What 2021-22 hybrids do you think are better than these in terms of distance and forgiveness?

Give us more to go off - why do you dislike the 425? You simply wanting distance? Where is your miss on the club face with the G425?

I want to upgrade to the G425s.

Want a little bigger hybrid which may give me more forgiveness.  Maybe some new built in 2022 tech hybrid may provide both?

A bigger hybrid is a higher lofted fairway wood. I don't think you'll find much better than the G425 unless there is something specific (more spin, less spin, different launch characteristics etc..) you're looking for. The G425 is plenty forgiving and the distance is good.

The G410 hybrid was superior to the G425 to me. I regretted upgrading.

 

IMO, hybrids are similar to fairway woods in that there doesn't seem to be a lot of 'tech' to advance from year to year.

For me - 425 just launched higher, didn't really seem to spin more. I stuck with 410 1. Looks from address 2. Launched through my perceived window 3. 425 wanted to draw, not hook - just draw

I like the G45 3 and 4 hybrid. I have found them to be straighter and plenty long enough. Just my opinion.

Epic Super Hybrid might be what you’re looking for. Other than that I’m not sure you’ll find many bigger and more forgiving than the G425s. They’re pretty darn forgiving.

Finding the right shaft in a hybrid is more important than the right head - IMO

Exactly.  A couple of my partners play the G425 hybrids.  I've got a G400 and another guy has a G410 hybrid.  All are some of the better options on the market in my opinion.  If you are looking for more forgiveness than that, I believe you need a higher MOI, which is where fairway woods come in.

The Callaway Apex I've always thought was huge and the Titleist TSi1 I'd say is in the same boat. For the distance buy a stronger loft than what you have now.

Sim/Sim2 Max weren’t adjustable but we’re pretty upright. I assume Stealth is too.

Ping, callaway, titleist, and Mizuno are the only ones with adjustable hosels on hybrids. Would target those for a more upright lie angle. 
 

Also, I will take the g425 off your hands if you are selling.

Callaway FW and Hybrids are very much underrated.

I think the TS, TSi Titleist hybrids have an upright setting

A little flier here. Personally I like the g425 (have it in a 4h) but the cobra king tec 3H I got on a whim now can't leave the bag. I'd demo those if the ping g425 isn't cutting it. I used the stock mmt stiff shaft also

Try the callaway super hybrid I have been very impressed with mine over my g425. I also highly recommend the ts2 over the g425.

I hate to state the obvious, but your best bet is to go to a golf shop, and see what fits your eye.

He knows that, but this is GolfWRX! We’re just a bunch of old fat guys that sit around and speculate about equipment all day. That’s the fun part!
