Who cares about pricing. I just ordered I525 and I like that they price out the haters haha

i525 are the same price as the Mizuno 225 and it seems like Mizuno is having all sorts of problems with quality and delivery. I'd lean towards Ping simply from a quality/timing perspective.

Morton golf has just listed the pre-order supposed to ship 4/7. Listed at 199.99. A little pricey but the 3.0’s worked for me.

8620 steel!!! Am I the only one that is surprised by this??? This is awesome. I'm in the market for new wedges because my Glide 2.0 Stealth's are quite beaten up, including a massive rock dent in the leading edge of my 54 degree. I think the 8620 steel is THE reason why the stealth's are so popular, it makes a big difference.

WOW - WOW - WOW!!!

8620 carbon is a pleasant surprise. I’m sure it’s a big reason why the tour guys have gravitated.

TXG guys said tomorrow is the day for the Glide 4.0.

Yesss.... I will definitely be watching.

I won't be pre-ordering, but I will defintely be testing. I think I am just now coming to fully know my Glide 2.0s (50 SS, 56 WS, 60 TS) and getting really comfortable with them on all different kinds of shots and which club to hit in which circumstances. I think that is probably worth way more than a fresher set of grooves (my grooves don't look bad) or any new tech that could possibly be invented. But if the transition from 2.0 to 4.0 is pretty easy and the tech is somewhat improved, I could be persuaded. I think wedges are the only clubs I'm even considering updating this year (outside of this crazy putter experiment I have going on which I need to come clean about at some point....) and these are really probably all I'd consider. Although I did pick up a RTX Zipcore at PGASS the other day and those look niceeeee (my first wedges were 588s). Still can't get down with the Vokey SM9. I've just never loved those. I know there are lots of great players who love them, just not for me. I'm happy with my Pings.

Driver - TM Mini BRNR 11.5, HZRDUS Smoke Black 6.5

Not sure if TXG is dropping the review video tomorrow. I hope we see some soon.

Saw that there is no mention of the Hydro-pearl coating. Is that not on this iteration? Seems interesting given the benefits that Ping had touted previously.

The glide forged have been 8620 too though right? So I'm struggling to figure out what Ping's wedge plan is right now, as it looks like they now have two different lines of wedges made of 8620 steel, priced at $199...

They are up on the PING website. They look great, basically bringing it back to the 2.0 Stealths that were so popular.

I'm not completely sure but the obvious thing IMO would be that the forged is smaller and really focused on meeting tour player (or better player) preferences while the Glide series will incorporate a smidge of game improvement (a little bigger, more perimeter weighting with the tuning port area milled out, more high bounce options, etc.). Kind of like Cleveland with their RTX vs CBX although the Glide's are wayyy smaller and less chunky than the CBX. Just guessing.

I'm a touch disappointed that the nipper groove isn't on the 4.0. I love that on my 3.0 60 TS.
