Looks odd at address - too roundish, too fat looking.

I wish they used the Eye 2 sole with the Stealth type head.

Disappointing.

They need a straighter leading edge and a more attractive look at address.

Mizuno T22 did it right - these are blah.

Not blah, more like 🤮

That's better, thanks, but lacks grind options. I like the original Forged more where Utley gave feedback. In the meantime, this fills the bill.

My glide forged need replaced… gonna wait for the stealths, but if those don't do it for me I'm gonna re-run the GFs. GFPs are just too small for me if I'm opening them up.

Total bummer. I like the ES grind but not the high toe look of the Eye 2.

I don't know how I ended up with an original Eye2 lob wedge (58*) in my garage, but it had been there for years.  I did not like the look of it at all..... Never used it or played it, but I recently decided to try it one day at the driving range in a steady rain.  All I can say is that I don't CARE what it looks like, I love the performance.  Planning on getting one in the new 4.0 58 eye2.  I'm coming from playing Vokey wedges for about 15 years.

My 30+ year old Eye 2 50, 54, and 58 (W, S, L) wedges are my go to, even now, if the score really counts.  I've had Vokey, Cally, Mizuno, Hogan, etc....  The Eye 2's are by far the best performing I've ever had, regardless of weather or turf conditions.  I like Mizuno S-18's and the Hogan Equalizer, but they don't perform like those original Pings.

Masters week release.  Wonder if that’s to help build up stock? Or when they wanted to release them?

Probably builds stock, and it's a little late but second best date.

If you are going to charge that much for a wedge it should come with any shaft or grip you want.  When I ordered my stealth 2.0s the no upcharge shaft and grip options were dismal.

I understand the need for the sunroof....but you still gonna pay extra for it

Went and got fit for i525's and put in my preorder. At the same time, my fitter has seen the 4.0 and is very excited about them. I also put in an order for the Glide 4.0 54 and 60 degree.....he will put that order in as soon as he can.

I'm expecting to get the wedges after the i525's; have heard Ping knows they have to repair their reputation after frustration on delivery times, and that they won't be taking orders they can't fulfill in timely manner. A friend of mine put an order in for 425's in late January and got them February 19th....he expected to get them mid-March, so a good sign.

Costing more than a vokey.  They must be pretty proud of these wedges.

I think Cost has more to do with supply chain and their availability of materials and cost of fabrication. Seems like it happened with i59 iron and the 4.0 wedge release. The i525 irons seem to be in line with other irons in its category.  Could Be a product by product basis.

With Ping delivery issues and pricing  on the i59’s, the only fire I can think of with them is
