that's a STEAL if you got a M6 for $150. M2's are still borderline tough to get for below that. Sims will be in the $200-$250 range for awhile.

Yeah I agree, I realized after I said it that it's probably dumb advice to wait for some crazy deal. Definitely better to just find the driver that you know is gonna be $150 or under in great condition and plays great. Plus I went back and checked and it was actually $160 😜

I'll add to the list the 2015 great big Bertha is a legit bomber. So hot especially with whiteboard d+. Only reason I game my speedzome is it's fractionally more forgiving.

I wouldn't call it dumb! I found my previous Sim driver head on ebay for a really good price.. just gotta actively look for deals.

Still gaming my Cobra King F6+ a handful of times per year.  Weight back is forgiving and low spin, nice feel and muted sound.  Lots of love around here for LTD, but any other Cobra driver from 2015 will be a solid performer for the price.

 

Otherwise, I’d be looking to rekindle some old magic with the Callaway GBB Epic. I always liked it’s profile at address, great sound & feel, and the draw/fade sliding weight was effective at managing my misses. Rogue is another good bomber in this price range.

 

I’ll echo the sentiments above about Ping G400, fantastic driver, my go to for about 20-25% of my rounds.  Would be my top choice and absolutely worth the extra $$$.

Still pretty happy with my Rogue SZ. Great combination of feel/sound, forgiveness, and distance. There are a few on the auction site for that price but condition may not be pristine. If you're looking for raw distance then 2016 M2 gets my vote. Not the most forgiving but can be a rocket launcher in the right hands. I'll probably list my G30 in the near future since the SZ is outperforming it.

Nothing, because even my current driver, the original 2016 M1, costs more than $150 on the used market. 

 

The people mentioning the OG M2...do you even pay attention to the used market?  I guess if you don't mind buying one with a 50 gram Senior flex shaft and spending another $150 on a new shaft, then you can get one for $150 (plus $150 for a new shaft)...

Test a bunch of new stuff and figure out what shafts work for you. 

 

Then get something used but adjustable... Loft, lie, curve control. 

 

If that's too much work just get a new PXG 0211 for $185...go to a pxg store and test the stock shafts.

Keep yours eyes open on the used market. I picked up one (Max) for under $200 a couple of weeks ago and just missed another for $200 that I was going to give to my Dad.
