PGA Tour, GolfWRX announce agreement

GolfWRXers, we have big news!

 

Today, GolfWRX is thrilled to announce a five-year agreement with the PGA Tour that will take the equipment coverage on both platforms to the next level and beyond.

 

For more than a decade, photos of Tour equipment have been a cornerstone of GolfWRX. During the practice rounds ahead of nearly every PGA Tour event in that timeframe, GolfWRX photographer Greg Moore has been on-site to capture photos of the clubs, shafts, and gear that PGA Tour players use and test every week. In addition, as most GolfWRX members already know, Andrew Tursky has rejoined GolfWRX to provide industry-leading coverage of PGA Tour equipment. In his new role at the company, he will join Moore out on Tour every week to provide boots-on-ground reporting of all things equipment related. Tursky is filing a weekly Tour Report and taking deep dives into equipment stories of note, such as the wild backstory of Tom Hoge’s one-off putter, and leveraging PGA Tour player access for gearhead gold Q&A’s, like this one with Charles Howell III.

 

As part of our five-year agreement with the PGA Tour, we are also happy to announce we are continuing to provide exclusive coverage to PGATour.com’s Equipment Report. While GolfWRX will remain the go-to platform for equipment coverage, we will continue providing in-depth gear features and reports that can only be found on PGA Tour’s Equipment Report. For example, check out some of our recent stories that appear only on PGATour.com, including Rickie Fowler’s putter switch, Adam Scott’s new flatstick, and a deep dive into Brooks Koepka’s WITB. Make sure to check into PGATour.com daily for our latest Equipment Report content.

 

In the podcast realm, Tursky and Knudson are back together for “Two Guys Talkin’ Golf,” a.k.a. TG2. As always, the guys are “talkin” new equipment launches, Tour gear, the latest WITB findings, their own experiences with gear testing, and Tursky provides his insights from life on Tour.

Ultimately huge credit has to go to Greg for years of travel and building trust and relationships out on tour. The WITB access we get is off the charts!
