Agree. My kindergarten photo has me wearing a gamecock shirt that said “ we welcome you to Williams Brice stadium with a gamecock greeting.  And we will send you away with a gamecock beating “ 😂.   So nobody can claim im a bandwagon fan if we come up under Beamer.    But I have to say we’re always pessimistic bunch at usc. It’s unhealthy to get your hopes up to high.  I like Beamer a lot.  Kind of like a mini Dabo in some ways but a better guy I think.  It’s always been painful to watch that much money get poured into a football team to win 3-5 games. Lol. We had some sparks under spurrier. But he was just too old to really give it his all With recruiting and patience.   And I get that.  So I hope 🤞 we see good things in 3/4 years.

Ha!  Now we’ve timelined  these two schools before !!!  The California team is a thief !!   I’ve thought of suggesting  that we should be like the buckeys.  And call ourselves “The USC “. 😎

We Big Ten folks refer to you as USCe (for East)... Makes it easier to determine who is being discussed.

i had to good luck to be a youth in basketball while he could still get around too.  And heard him speak from afar.  That man could lead young men , and stir up things you didn’t  know you had.  .  I can’t imagine how great it was to play for him.

I was at Reynolds with my brother (who was already there ... I'd be there a few years later) for his "never give up" speech - kinda the same one he did on ESPN but it was more personal being in Reynolds. Which anyone who knows Reynolds ... knows what a special place that is.   

 

When I watch the video of it - and I do every so often - I know exactly where to look to see us. 

 

Jimmy V was a tremendous, wonderful man.

Nice Milgauss...not the usual fare. I split my time between here and a few watch forums/sites. Rolex makes a rugged watch, but best to leave it in the bag when you're playing...

Yes, and for a variety of reasons. Im a lefty, wear mine on the left wrist. I tried to wear it one time and one time only. After about a dozen balls on the range the time/date crown basically beat a bloody hole into the back of my hand. Explains why Mickelson wears that slim Cellini with a leather strap when he plays.

I love @tw_focus passion and relentless optimism.  He marches to the beat of his own drum, and that's commendable.  Watching Tiger at the JP event doesn't fill me with confidence, but he's arguably to greatest golfer of all time.  If anyone can find a way.  Likely MC though.  Let's go Tiger!!
