Someone at my firm is trustee for the trust of a deceased guy. He still gets tons of mail that gets forwarded here. Looking at who is asking him for another donation, there are no questions of his political leanings. He just got his 2023 membership card for Judicial Watch. I got to tell several coworkers the ballad of Larry Klayman, and read from his Wikipedia page. Much time was wasted. but I would equate the joy felt in the office to the first year my kid understood the magic of Christmas. Dealing with a bad attorney is now referred to as "getting Klayman'd".

I read the entire New Yorker article. The only time it mentions Reed it references a quote from someone who is named, and then links a joke made by another person which again there is a link to. 

 

I don't really get it.....I do find that too often now many publications take far too many liberties in how they label people without any real evidence or justification....But i didn't see any of that in the New Yorker article

 

Does anyone know the CNN article he is referring to now?

It deals with topics that should be posted in a different thread and should not be discussed as per the subject line of this thread. I'm watching it and have yet to see Reeds name mentioned. The whole blood money comment was posed as more a question than a statement of fact... but it was a very political video that can be searched fairly easily if you want to watch it.

The article has the name of the video, just do a google search on the name of the video and you'll find it pretty easily. The contents of the video probably shouldn't be discussed on this forum.

Sometimes a settlement is a win. There're times when the cost of continuing is more expensive than a quick settlement......Larry might be counting on it,......LOL!

if he really wanted to repair his reputation he’d stop filing lawsuits and channel all of that that energy into promoting his charity foundation and helping those in need in his free time. but that is unlikely to happen because that would require some honest self-reflection and the genuine desire to care about something other than himself

Don’t think the PGA Tour has any intention of settling. They have fought other golf tours, fought VJ, and fought the caddies. I don’t think CNN has any intention of settling either.

You know, at some point getting sanctioned and having to pay attorney's fees for all of these defendants might be a real concern.
