There are two things you can learn by stopping your backswing at the top and checking the position of your hands: how many hands you have, and which one is wearing the glove.

thought that was a great event and finish....i still agree with those about the teams, i think that is the ticket and the last event will all about teams w/knockout format....no one is taking down the 4 aces thought.....im really digging LIV.

So people actually like the teams? I watched alot of this event and didn't give 1 damn about the team competition.

There’s not much to follow currently but I think that will change. Throw in a annual team event, free agency and player relegation and the storylines will start to branch off and create more entertainment and make it so more shots matter every tournament.

I don't know if LIV has enough guys to create a free agency pool. I also think for them to have free agency team captains would need to be in charge of things like player contracts/figuring out what amount of these contract are guaranteed money.

Not sure how it will all work but it will turn into more than it is now. I hope the teams are done by countries or regions and they attempt to build or arrange regional feeder systems.

If they get to that point, I would imagine there will a team ownership structure more like other sports. Maybe with a GM who makes the player moves and contracts

I dig it. I think the players have bought into it.

it gives players who shot a bad round an opportunity to still contribute in following rounds.

still a ton of money in it even on the team side.

Sort of getting to know the some of the teams as a unit. This part will def get stronger with time.

well the tournament was far from over that point. It ended up going into a playoff. So Why would there be a climax at that point?

People not knowing what would happen next and being on the edge of their seats is a bad thing?

I’m not a fan of the shotgun start but in this case it worked out fine.

Still got to see Westwood choke. That happens on shotgun and regular starts.

Exactly what they are trying to do on team concept. Look at the team make ups and look at next years schedule.  They go to almost each country and promote that team.  Feeder tour aspect would be smart.

I watched an hour on Sunday and checked the results. What did we learn?

- The course wasn't as difficult as the announcers made it.

- If you're fresh from the PGA Tour and still in competition mode you can fare pretty well at LIV. Smith, Lahiri and Niemann were on point.

- Good for LIV that DJ won that thing. He can really play, the winner's circle needed a little star power.

- Westwood showed us why he hasn't won in a while.

- The team competition is a joke at this time. Horsfield, Westwood, Poulter and Al-Kurdi (who???) cashed 250000 dollars each. What for? At least al-Kurdi contributed one result for the team.

- The PGA events should be quiet places from now on. All the morons who holler "Get in the hole!!!!" even on unreachable par fours visit LIV from now on. Golf, but louder!

- Pat Perez shows what's wrong with this exhibition format: In three tournaments the Aces team got 21 scores counted. Perez contributed exactly two. This great feat was worth 2.25 million dollars. Next time on the plane he should sing "They are the champions!"

- Sihwan Kim is a close second. 87 - 63 - 76!! One more birdie from Kevin Na, and Kim would have pocketed 250000 dollars. Cmon!

- Talor Gooch finally is a superstar. When the patrons holler GOOOOOOOOTSCH! every time he hits the ball he must be. But at least he delivers good scores...

- ...BDC, Koepka, Mickelson, Reed not so much. Will that get better with time when they play even less competitive golf? I don't think so.

Exciting finish, Anirban laniri,5 ft eagle putt missed for victory.Lee Westwood needing a par to make the playoffs on one of the easiest holes on the course, and fluffing the 2nd shot!

And DJ luckily holing his eagle putt,or Anirban may have had the victory.

DJ also played his last hole terribly by hitting his layup in the woods.

What I learned is this. I enjoyed watching much more than I ever thought I would. The announcers have taken HUGE strides since the second tournament. They know when to shut up and let us watch for the most part.

I guess I'll respectfully disagree. I tried watching it again since there was nothing else on. Jerry Foltz had to remind me every five minutes how great this was and how he's never seen the players happier. The same talking points every five minutes.

Its exhausting. I used to love him on Golf Channel broadcasts because he knew when to shutup and just let the event play out.

I've tried, its not for me. I went back to the KFT finals.
