Is anyone more annoying than Colt Knost?

Colt is somewhat annoying but nowhere near as bad as Azinger.  They could replace Azinger with ChatGPT just repeating his favorite phrases over and over again.  "He's really feeling the pressure now."  "This is a pressure putt."  "The pressure got to him."  "Let's see if he can handle the pressure."

Did anyone else catch the Azinger's comment about DeChambeau's long putt that was an inch short?  He said "that guy can hit a 350 yrd drive on the fly, but he can't make an 18 ft putt".  I'm not a Bryson fan, not an Azinger fan either, but I thought that was pretty tacky.

I've given Zinger the benefit of the doubt because announcing golf is hard. He's gotten considerably worse.

How about every fanboy announcer. Just call the golf. If you want to root for a golfer do it on your own time. Too bad the the best announcers I have heard lately are still playing(J. Rahm and C. Montgomery). Just my opinion. 😎

I actually think Knost does a decent job. Being friends with a lot of the guys on tour, he provides interesting insights at times.

 

I can't stand Chamblee on the other hand. LIV broke his brain - it's like the world outside of golf never existed to Chamblee pre-LIV, and LIV just opened up this giant and dark geopolitical world to him.

Yes he's the most annoying, can't stand someone trying to be funny all the time especially when they're not.  It's golf commentary not stand up.  Did anyone hear Smylie Kaufman's comment on the U.S. Am broadcast about Cherry Hills being like the spin cycle on a washing machine because some guys were spinning shots back on the green?  Cringeworthy, immediately hit mute for the rest of the broadcast.
