I'd prefer a Mad Libs style template myself so people can insert different nouns and vowels to keep it fresh.

I like Colt's commentary but he needs to turn down the comedy attempts to about a 5 or 6 from his current 9 on the dial. Not everything he says needs a slight sarcastic slant to it, and I think Smylie does this really well.

 

However, I do like the ESPN live stream team on the main feeds early in the rounds because they have a bit more freedom not being on a broadcast channel and say some pretty funny things.

you mean coverage where the announcers don't think they are the show isn't the way to go?    Nobody notices how you never see the announcers' faces on those broadcasts.  It's golf, wildlife, or a place of interest not very far from the course.  No prepared pieces of "FedEx Player advantage" or any other of that crap.

Colt reminds of the 1 friend we all have who never turns down the opportunity for a sarcastic comment. Many times even inappropriate.  Usually flat out obnoxious, but deep inside you know he is actually a good guy.

Yes there is definitely worse than Colt. His name is coach and he doesn’t play golf to any standard. He was on featured groups for 7 hours last week during Rory round. What a shambles. Guy was a wrestler or something stupid
