Hello,

F

Here is memo we receive from are Supervisor.

For Blueprint S & T irons with these custom graphite shafts, we will not be able to achieve a wide range of swing weights. If an account is requesting a specific swing weight, please let them know that it might not be achievable. It would be best to avoid any swing weight requests for these types of builds. In order to have these custom shafts in the Blueprint S & T we have to forgo the tip weight which will really limit our swing weight options. It is extremely important to add the BUILD IN WRX option when entering these orders.

Thank you and have a great day!

Play your best,

i got this

Unfortunately, all production for Blueprint S with graphite shaft is on hold until further notice. There is some testing being done at this moment in time.

Thank you and have a great day!

Play your best,

I’m told it is an inside dimension issue (small) for the tip weights they want to use  for SF and Axiom shafts

they will have the right sized weights in 6 weeks per Ping Canada .. originally they said 3 months

Maybe a dumb question and understand on some of the lighter weight shafts, but if we are talking Axiom 105s for example, why would they need to use a tip weight for this shaft when it is the same weight as a modus 105s for example and actually has a lower balance point?  Would they be using a tip weight in the modus 105s as well?  I thought the use of tip weights has more to do with the balance point of the shaft than it does with the material of the shaft?  Asking as I am not a super club tech and not familiar with builds.

For players that want heavier swingweights or players with shorter build lengths

I am guessing they could do this with just heavier toe weights, which would be great for us left missers, but not so much for the general pop .

I finally put my order in. 4,5 I230 and 6-PW BPS. I hit them 4x before I bought them, switching from JPX 900 forged irons that I've had for 7 years. I can't wait to get these irons!

I still think I could go i530 in 5 and 6 down the road

Just finished my 3rd and sadly final round of golf in Myrtle.   First rounds with the BP S.   I can say they are excellent irons.  I really enjoyed them and played quite well with them.  They surprised me at times as to how far I can hit them.  They go just as far as my T150s.

Highly recommend them for anyone looking for something in the category.

For those on the fence on the 4 and 5 irons.  Easy to hit, easy to launch high, easy to flight down, more forgiving than any players cavity I have experience with.  (S55, TCBs, 716 CBs, J40’s….).  I hit tee shots into the trees enough that the 4 iron truly needs to be a workable, shot-making club.

The 4 iron gaps very well with an 18 degree hybrid or 20 degree 7 wood.

Note.  I do not have experience with players distance irons or GI irons, so cannot compare.

How they are still in business is beyond me

Why anyone would give them business is beyond me. There are so many places now that allow you to return the clubs for full credit within 90 days no questions asked. If people are ordering from club champion it’s on them at this point

Yeah I asked them to order direct from ping at specific weight, but in my conversations with them doesn’t instil any confidence

Hopefully they just drop ship from ping at this point. Fingers crossed for you dude .

For those blending these clubs, what are you blending them with at the top end? I230? Very interested in moving into there from the i230, but may want to blend the 4 and 5 iron.

I think they will be tough to blend and get gapping right.

the i230s will be easier to hit in 4-5 but will likely not fly as far as the blueprints.  I have a set and even in power spec my 5 and 4 iron are short of what I normally expect with any other set.

the I530 is another options.  They will be longer and spin less.  When I tried then 525, the 4 iron fly far, like 15- 20 yards too far.

The blueprint s fly further then the i230's? Can you elaborate?

According to Ping they were designed to be able to blend with i230 and seems to be popular in the 4 and 5 irons.

If you already have a set of i230’s I would just order 6-PW and see how you get on with it.

This is what I planned on doing, however, I ended up going with a full set of BPS because there was a 20% sale on all in stock irons at my store and I was lucky enough to be fit into black dot with DG 120 S300. I’ve actually found the 4 and 5 iron to be pretty easy to hit and launch, a couple others have said the same.
