TV coverage doesn't do the big slopes justice. The fairways are pristine because it's close to impossible to have a ball come to rest in many locations.

Nah, his fit is brutal. The logos all over the pants aren't all that bad but he's swimming in those things. Not quite JNCOs, but...

 

Not sure who that brand is targeting cause there isn't really a segment I can think of where baggy is in at the moment. Also, if I had quads like his I'd be flexing on my playing partners every chance I got. Wasted opportunities, misspent youth, the humanity.

I wish they showed more tee shots on 18.  It’s a fun driving hole to watch.  
I also wish they showed less commercials.   Sentry TOC seems to have more commercials than any other tour event, so much so that it’s even a hassle to record the broadcast since you’re having to fast forward every six minutes once recorded.

Ironically, baggy pants are back in with the Gen Z crowd. I see it all over that age group, guys and girls, including my 17 year old nephew.

Up here it’s a treat to have Kapalua on the flat screen while we have a white-out outside the front window. Have to find one of those little drink umbrellas to put in my Jameson.

Wife and I drove all over Maui today, just saw they’re using spilt tees tomorrow, last groups out before 10am.  Do we know why?  Weather looks fine.  Trying to decide when to get to the course; looks like early now.

 

Edit: Maybe this is something they always do, for East coast TV time?

 

Edit #2: 72 degrees today was the hottest 72 degrees I've ever felt; seemed over 100 🙂

tony's problem tends to be he'll pepper the 20 -10 foot circle some days but hes pretty close to 50/50 from that range so when he has a good day and makes more than 50% he falls back below the norm the next day to even it out :{

Early days but Scottie seems much more confident putting and the putts look much better. Stats seem to support that as well but obviously a small sample.

6th is by far my favorite hole on the course with the pin on the left or in the front. Love seeing players take different strategies for the approach.
